Just off the top of my head I can't recall players from losing SB teams congratulating the winners.

I just wanted to guage exactly how many people that painted LeBron as being the bad guy when he did the same thing would actually take up for Peyton for doing this.

I thought it might have been a race thing, since black folks always have the rap of being cocky and arrogant.

Who knows what LeBron did after those finals? I mean if he and Dwight are doing a Miki D's commercial together there can't be that much ill feelings between the two. Just sayin. ;)

You may be right, I just think it's the classy thing to do.

Have you seen what they get paid to make those commercials?

I'd do a commercial with Hitler for that kind of dough.

Nah, I don't fault either Lebron or Peyton. They are both incredible competitors and it must really hurt to lose such a big game. He gave the Saints all the credit after the game, that is enough for me.

Not only would it be impossible for Peyton to find Brees in that crowd, he probably knew that the spotlight would be on him for a good 10 minutes until he left the field.

So why not cut the BS and let the Saints/Brees enjoy the spotlight instead of having the cameras focused on the greatest QBs of all time losing in the Superbowl when it should have been focused on the team that deserves the spotlight.

    Thanks Peyton for being intelligent.

I am not a Peyton fan at all however there is absolutely nothing wrong with what he or Lebron did. On the biggest stages in sports, they failed and were pissed. They don't owe the other team any kind of fake "congrats" to anyone.

Apparently most people that posted in here was not in the Orlando/Cleveland thread because their were a whole bunch of people calling LeBron a crybaby for what he did or well didn't do.

It's grown men playing professional sports.

I'd call it bad sportsmanship if there was a snub or the loser said some insulting things afterward to the press.

It's a little different in the NBA, seeing as how it's 5 on 5, as well as the fact it was a conference champ game and not the finals.

As soon as the the game clock is over, thats the result of the game. After that, go to the locker room and go on about your business. Get on with the post game show. Who watches the game for handshakes?

Peyton had to storm off; he was on the clock. Oreo cookies don't wait for just anyone to lick them.

Im surprised Peyton didnt say the wr ran the wrong route when he threw the int. He never throws an int if you ask him. Thats why it was so good to see the Saints kick DAT ass.
