Type of Player we need?

We need $40 mil players in uniform on court for 82 games instead of street attire.

I'll be lenient and say most of the games, at least 70-82. But first and foremost, every single playoff game.

 

IMO, all we need to be a contender with this current group of players is a penetrating, efficient scoring wing.

If you give us ONE of those, and a healthy Yao, this team has enough to win it all.

Trevor & Shane are not good enough as starters and they are not skilled enough to take advantage of their opportunities.

Just one good efficent scoring wing....and away we go.

Imagine trying to double team Brooks and leaving a scoring wing all alone.....

One player makes such a difference.

A healthy Manu.

This team with a healthy Yao and a healthy Manu is as good as the Champion Spurs team.

 

I agree with ah scoring wing, but getting that scoring wing we need should not come from the Sixers.....please

Scorer and most importantly a rim protector ie.(Haywood type of big). You can have all the scoring you want, but without true size on this team the rockets won't compete with the Lakers, Magic, Nuggets, Mavericks and Celtics of the world.
