Mo Taylor- got a shot, can't rebound, and throw about one or two moves. that's it.

Kenny Thomas- he jumps higher than Mo, shoots better than Mo, passes better than Mo. well can move just as could as any other of the rockets.

If anybody should start it should be KT.

Oh yeah KT doesn't get paid as much either.

    Mo sucks. Kenny rules!

    just look at the numbers

Kenny 72 games 71 games started

    Mo T 00 games 00 games started

 KT shoots better? It really depends ... if you're talking about mid-range jumper, I'd vote for Mo. Rebound ... if I'm not mistaken, their rebounding averages are about the same.

So whoever gets paid less should start? What's the reasoning behind it?

Well then Jason Collier must be a better player than Mo, since he did play last season ... Dan Langi too ...

I'm the biggest fan of KT, but your comparison is very biased.

Let's wait until the season before we argue about who sucks and doesn't. I hope neither of them suck and we have a lethal 2 or 3 PF (barring a trade) punch in MoT, KT & Eddie.

The player that starts is irrelevant, Both will see 25-30 minutes a game.

Depending on their play, and match-ups present in that particular game, the presence of those two, plus Griffin gives Rudy numerous options to close out games. Options are good.

Both Mo and KT are good players. Its just that they are different types. Mo is your finesse scoring type and KT is being groomed to be more of a power foward that rebounds that also has a jump shot. Right now, the Rox could use more of a bruiser rebouding/defensive type.

I hate KT, trade him. We win with mo we lose with KT. Kt can not shot woth crap. At the least he does not fit our offense.

MoT is definitely a better shooter (remember when everyone used to call him "Mr. First Quarter"?) and a better passer to boot. I look forward to having Mo back because we have lacked any explosiveness coming out of the gate and quite a few games we had last year were all catch up games.
As far as the KT/Mo/Eddie debate goes, the final decision rests with Rudy/CD which,in my opinion, is about a good a place as you could find for the decision to rest. Have faith brethren!

KT is shorter than most at the PF position. He is active in the paint and gets boards and put backs. He does not have a huge offensive arsenal, mainly just jump hooks and a set shot. A good player to have on the bench but not really starter material.

Big Mo is a prototypical PF, physically. He is 6'9" and can be 260lbs. He is more polished on the offensive end than KT but needs to develop more strong moves to the basket. He also needs to rebound more. For someone with his size and strength he doesn't do a great job. He never really has even in college. He does have all the tools to become one of the top PFs in the NBA, its just a matter of desire.
