    his unimpressive stats

14 pts on 8 shots, 6for6 free throws -- ties for the rockets 2nd highest scorer tonight

10 rebounds -- more rebounds than any rocket

6 assists -- more assists than any rocket

3 steals -- more steals than any rocket

He was a team player and won the game for them. Now tell me why he isn't worth it?

"I think we very well could be getting a trade done over the all star break, if one is going to transpire. I can't say for certain which one will eventually go down, but if I were to venture a guess I'd say the Philly trade.

Just believe us to have a more amicable and workable relationship with Philly that will work to our advantage. And the pieces seem to be able to fit, and can't really mention how important having a strong working relationship with the powers to be in Philly will be... it will be of the upmost importance in this particular case."

If we end up losing out on Iguodala and Butler we might as well just make a minor useless deal to get under the lux tax, tank it up and strike heavily on draft night.

yet he finishes with a near triple double (dont forget his 3 steals also)

yeah he sucks..iggy sucks. ...You know, if Battier wasnt such a great speaker, and great smile, and giving to charity, you guys wouldnt like him as much. Ariza gets called a terrorist yet he is better than Battier. Battier=obama. No matter what he does, its all forgiven because he is friendly and talks good.

Yeah Agreed, If nothing significant is done on the trade deadline, we should trade shane IMO for expiring's & draft picks and focus on trying to break into the top 10 in the draft....

Iguodala did not have good stats until the fourth quarter when he carry the Sixers to victory. He is clutch at the end. Even though his stat did not jump out in the first three quarter but he play in the flow of the game instead of trying to score himself . He set up his teamates numerous times. If they had hit more shots his assists will be more than the six he got tonight. He is a very good passer with very good court vision. I think he will definitely make his people around him better. He can score, pass , defend and play unselfishly. He would be a great fit with this team. If I am Houston I would definitely try to get him and would not mind parting with one of the core guy. The only two I would try not let go would be Brooks and Landry. Otherwise any of them can be trade if it bring Iguodala to Houston.

i've seen iggy play a lot this year, he's not an all-star. he's a very good player, but he's not going to elevate us anywhere.

We shall not forget to mention his counterpart and trade partner Samuel Dalembert.

    2-2 4 pts, 10 rebs.

That does not equate to 12 mil or whatever his salary is and what it would be with the tk. That's one [or would be one] wealthy back-up center!

All in all, nah not worth it to me. And doesn't appear worth it to Morey or Les. Safe to say, we should probably move on from this [and look elsewhere] because I don't think it's happening.

    Iggy is clutch.

After tonight, I trust him enough to take the last shot. He has proven to me that he can close games. 2 dagger 3-pointers tonight. He's even done this in the playoffs.

At the same time, I do not think the Rockets can afford to lose Kyle Lowry. It's too much of a coincidence that the team struggles when he's missing from the rotation.

With that being said, I do not believe this trade will happen. Lowry is key. Iggy will probably take Lowry for a deal to get done. I don't think Morey will let him go

Iguodala's audition drives his price up

    Iguodala audition

If it were not enough that forward Andre Iguodala played the Rockets on Saturday with the intention of taking another 76ers win out of Toyota Center, he also planned to drive up the price in trade talks between the Rockets and Sixers.

“It means I got to put on a good show tonight,” Iguodala said before scoring 14 points and adding 10 rebounds in a 102-95 win. “I'm joking. No, I just think of it as another game. I've been here six years. I still treat these guys (on the 76ers) like my brothers. We got to go out and fight with them and try to win the game.”

The 6-6 Iguodala has not considered how he would fit in with the Rockets, at least no more so since the Rockets announced they would try to trade Tracy McGrady, making Iguodala a likely target.

“I'm sure a lot of guys think about different situations on any team, but I don't think they take it seriously,” Iguodala said. “We're trying to get better as a team, trying to get wins, so we're focusing on ourselves. I've been in this league for six years, and I understand the business of it. You read all type of things. ... But you have to stay professional and go out and play.”

People have to understand that you have to give something up, in order to get something back. We can't just give up McGrady/Cook and expect to receive everyone we want. We're going to have to give up a Lowry and/or Scola, too.

Battier is Obama? Ariza is a terrorist? Does that mean Obama/Battier is an undercover terrorist trying to support Ariza and his team(Al-Qaeda).

Things that make you go "Hmmm..."

I feel like having a tea party for some reason.
