I agree. He's got more upside than Trevor, but I'd much rather have Caron in a Rockets uni. He has what we need...the ability to score at will in deadly stretches.
This will be a real interesting game. I think Iggy will have a big game to show his worth and I believe inside buckets will be hard to come by with Dalembert holding the paint area. And if Rick Adelman is reading this I would like to see so more Joey Dorsey please. Ariza has being play really well of late but Iggy will be on him. Both teams coming off of a back-to-back. Rockets take care of business at home 103-87.
2 in a row yeah! Brooks and Ariza will lead the way and finish the game with 18 and 16 pts respectively. Rox prevail 101-99.
Brooks, Landry, and C-Bud all simultaneously decide to have microfracture surgery, and be out for the year................and announce it on T-Macs blog.
TMac, Lowry and CBud for Iggy, Dalembert and Williams I could stomach loosing Lowry in this scenario because Williams is just as good or better. I would have a hard time giving up CBud up though because I envision him paired up with Iggy at some point in the starting line-up. But the truth is that I would probably relent and trade CBud for that Philly trio.
This is the best opportunity for the Rockets to get a winning streak going. We have philly at home which is a winnable game.... and miami on the road which isn't too bad either... 5 games in a row going into the all-star break would be nice. Gotta beat the Sixers first, go Rockets.
I hope my man-crush on Lowry and C-Bud are not clouding my judgment. I am very hesitant to trade Lowry away since he brings so much from the bench. Anybody can see it that our bench looks totally different with Lowry. Dude is like the human bowling ball powered by boundless energy. Having said that, one or two key players, can really propel a team to elite status. For example, Gasol paired with Kobe made them a dynamite team. I am not comparing Dalembert to Gasol, but he is a big that can really protect the paint and just someone who really fill our needs. Overall, if this trade substantially improves the team, then go for it.
