    Grizzlies/Rockets Trade -

    Rockets get:
    Thabeet
    S. Young
    2010 1st round pick

The Rockets do it b/c they can get a big that can block shots, and develop, and also get mid first rd pick(15-20) in a strong draft & an asset out of it....

    Grizzlies Get:
    Battier
    Dorsey
    Taylor
    2011 2nd round pick

The Grizzlies do it b/c they get a veteran for leadership to make a strong playoff run & to solidify their bench, and some young assets in return...

With all the chatter that the Cavs are willing to trade Zydrunas Ilgauskas to either Washington or Indiana, only to have him bought out and returned (for cap relief), I was thinking, how can we stop this BS, and use it to our advantage.

I was thinking people on here has a inflated value for Samuel Dalembert and the $12 million, 2 years, and trade kicker on his contract.

For a slightly lesser price, we could bring in Troy Murphy under the same rumored guidelines. He was 2nd in rebounding last year (only behind Dwight Howard), and still this season avgs more than Dalembert at 9.7 boards a game. He gives you offense that Dalembert cant provide to go along with that price tag. He can hit the 3 and the mid range jumper with ease. Think of a better shooting, elite rebounding, efficent, David Andersen.

Keeping chemistry in mind, I added a wing that could help the Rockets, and also the best friend of Shane Battier...Mike Dunleavy.

    Rockets trade: Tracy Mcgrady
Rockets get: Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy

Pacers trade: Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy
    Pacers get: Tracy McGrady

    Trade works!!! ;)

I have my doubts about Murphy, he really sucks this season.

By the way, Pacers aren't just trading for T-Mac ... they want an interesting package in return. Pacers are playing it hard, i don't know anymore what the package was that the Cavs offered for Murphy but it was nice and they still refused it.

I did this proposal already in this thread http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ykshk2h ... I'd rather do this trade!

If the Raptors are interested in Battier...

    Raptors trade

    Marco Belinelli
Amir Johnson (or Evans or Banks)

    Rockets trade

    Shane Battier

^^^ Your nuts. Your trade is just a wet dream. I'm being realistic here.

2ndly the Cavs are offering cap relief, JJ Hickson, and as of right now the last pick in the first round (30). You call that a nice offer??? LOL. Get outta here.

Haha maybe I am. I could see the Raptors at least consider a deal consisting of Marco and Battier.

Defensive anchors aren't easy to come by. ;)

    Didn't see that.

This Bima guy is a genius.

And since 1st rounders get guaranteed money, you think we should spend around $12/13 million on rookies next year???

Did you get a formal education or still home schooled?

Then why post it on here on the boards if it makes zero sense? You posted it, because you wanted people to see it and reply.

and the John Wall sig, lol. You are in LaLa land buddy.

Haha ;) Well, No actually I posted it b/c I saw an article that Memphis is offering up most of their draft picks (still hesitating to give up their own)for someone like Chris Douglas Roberts> http://www.commercialappeal.com/news/2010/feb/05/griz-looking-to-add-firepower/
....and I thought to myself, If the nets could land those two draft picks(who can hold some value) for Chris, than Battier could probably land us all three of their draft picks, and that would allow us to do some maneuvering during the draft.....possibly moving up on the board and quite possibly allowing us to have two high draft picks....but again its just SPECULATION..

PS. My Signature is just one fan's dream(mine)...

Even if its an impossible dream

Dwight to Houston for Joey Dorsey+

I think we can now make this trade now that joey has had his first game as the real superman! He will evolve into a beast! and then Trade him and tmac for dwight. Just image Yao, Dwight, Landry, Scola, Brooks, and Shane.= Champions.

Get it done "in MOREY we TRUST!"
