cleveland deal that was earlier talked about was west,Z,hickson, danny green for iguodala and dalembert

not sure if wally was being signed to make numbers work or not.

portland hasnt really jumped in fully yet.....but they will be getting back to us

phoenix is still technically alive..but we arent in active talks right now til we see what else is there.

my source still doesnt believe mcgrady will get traded......but if morey decides to do that..we will be involved.

just my speculative list in order of deal likelihood based off what i heard
1) dallas(if they take brand)
2) phoenix
3) cleveland
4) houston
5) portland

still VERY early and alot could change. we need to cut salary..something will happen..not sure if it will be iguodala big of a move..but somehow someway salary will be cut.

and their taking Brand. Cuban really knows how to go over the top. Too bad no matter what they trade for they will stay soft with Dirk and go nowhere.

because houston isnt sure they want to move him  ..like i said...if they just let him expire then they have the cap space in the offseason.

all i got for now...be back later. gotta run.

you've got a better chance of figuring out how to spell flexibility than we do of signing KD

and after Durant there's slim pickings in 11

oh snap

Yeah, I saw that, too.

But if we're so determined to stand pat, we'll have no cap space. Zero. Zilch. We just won't be flirting with the luxury tax. So part of me wonders how The-Rocket-Guy'ish that "insider" is.

Yes, but you fussed earlier about the Rockets not making any big deals lately (since CD left?) and I pointed out that unless they have a big contract (Yao or McGrady) in the trade package, they have to put 5 or more players together to get enough salary to do a big trade.

Until last season, the Rockets had players on smaller contracts without much value - talent such as Bonzi Wells, Kirk Snyder etc. I would have been embarrassed if I was Morey and had been calling other teams trying to make a big deal stacking the contracts of limited value - talent players.

Until Les shows that he will spend the $$$, most of the regulars on the BBS will expect the Rockets to stay under the Luxury Tax Line. There have been a few threads popping up lately questioning Morey and what he can accomplish in the future, but things like trading McGrady, Yao and spending beyond the Luxury Tax Line are very likely calls that Les makes and Morey has
to follow orders.

now this thread is looking like 3rd grade.

back on topic. Looks like if the Mavs couldn't get him while taking back Brand they are asking for too much.

My multiple posts have nothing to do with a mis-spelled word.

When you went there, you admitted defeat on your opinion.

Like I said, book it, we arent getting Iggy. Re-hash this thread on the 19th.

Wouldn't surprise me Iguodala isn't nearly 30 shooting 27% from 3

No, I did not. My opinion was we're not about to get Durant, and that Iguodala is currently better than Caron Butler.

I'm not some joke that wants to act like what I say is set in stone, so I'll just go ahead and cross my fingers for the sake of putting together a better ball club in Houston...that you're wrong.

says the joke that wants the older player shooting worse from 3 while citing 3 pt. efficiency as an argument

here come the Wiz guys! Caron Butler and Haywood are about to win out.

hey maybe you can "except" it hahahahahahha

We could trade Battier for Raja Bell and Anthony Morrow. It would yeild us an expiring contract in Bell ( a defensive monster) and a cold blooded 3 point shooter in Anthony Morrow. Battier could help the Warriors with his defense and all the untangibles.

Morrrow would be good on a franchise with direction, unlike anything Don Nelson has done in the past few years.
