I'm just curious, but who here are wrestling fans, i.e WWE, ECW, etc...? And if you are, do you guys go all out and watch the PPVs and go to the shows? Or just watch it on TV?

I went to the show here at the Compaq Center on friday. It was allright. There were about 6,000 people there, not too much.

the main event was the Big Slow and Brock Lesner vs the Houston tag team of Booker T and Undertaker.

Man, I'm in Dallas, and when I saw that Houston got the Friday night show, I was thinking.....the WWE must not like Houston anymore. The last 2 shows in Houston have been the Saturday night crap....

Maaan. This is the third time it's been here this year. They had a Sunday house show in January, a Smackdown! in April I think, and this Friday. I guess they'll be back in November or something with a TV show. Probably Raw seeing as we already had a Smackdown!. I rather see a PPV come here.

How much did you pay for your seats? Were you nosebleed or right up there?

I too went to the house show on Friday. It was not bad at all. I wasnt the same without the titantron setup and the entrance ramp. I thought it was better though than the April Smackdown but the best one I went to was the Live Smackdown on 9/13/01. I paid 21.35 for lower prom, corner seat. The upper prom was completely closed. At the April Smackdown i paid almost $50 for lower prom seats that were right smack in the middle of the ring. The only bad thing is that for the same price, I couldve got floor seats, but they already sold out.

I also went to the house show friday night. I liked it. I havent been to an event in a while. I didnt have to pay for my seats because my cousin bought them for me for my birthday.

Where did you guys sit at?? I sat on the side of the stadium like in the middle of the section of 101. I don't think the nosebleed seats were available for that event.

I'll watch the WWE PPVs and such. Booker T's my fav wrestler/entertainer. I also watch this NWA: TNA wrestling...actually for the wrestling!

Never buy PPV and only watch the two main shows (SD and RAW), is it just me, or did anyone else like Nitro/WCW much better than WWE. I don't know, I guess I just think all of the stuff like DDP stalking the Undertakers wife, Vince and Stacey's relationship, etc is r****ded. Can't we just have wrestling and smack talk like it used to be. Plus all of the WWE announcers suck. If I hear Jerry Lawler talking about puppies one more time I am going to hunt him down and kill him, and somebody please gag good ol' JR.

I sat in section 106, the top of the rows. my ticks were 36 bucks, and i took my lil cousin.

    the show was allright.

i don't have 29.95 every month. that's 360 dollars per month, and when WCW was around, that would make it 720 bucks a month.

I go to all the shows and watch all the PPVs. I am a huge wrestling fan and have attempted to become a website collumnist. No word yet.

I know what you're saying. But the ringwork is better in WWE than it was in WCW. I like the production that WWE does much better than the dark, bland WCW production. I REALLY enjoy some of the WWE storylines, but yeah I'd love to have more wrestling, less everything else.

Floor seats, Section 1, Row 10.

In any event, anytime anybody wants to talk wrestling with a knowedgable fan, just start a thread...I'll find my way in.

If you guys want ring work, there's the NWA on PPV every Wed, if you're not cheap ;) . The X Division is great.

So, who do you guysthink kicked HBK's butt? The Big Show is an obvious choice; Booker and HHH may be as well. Of course, we all know it won't be any of the 3 I just stated. Too obvious.

I think the Anti-Americans of Lance, Test, and Christian did it because they said they had one last thing to do. Also HBK did interrupt their interview.

It would be great, but highly unlikely. He suffered a stroke following a motorcycle accident about a month ago. The initial brain injury that left him susceptible was the kick from Goldberg at Starrcade 2000.

Vince Russo will be the end of that promotion. His first show was last week and reprts state that there was less wrestling and more raunch. Truely unfortunate, because it is time for WWE to have some WRESTLING competition. :(

That the window of the car looked like the same knock that Goldberg did a while back that kept him out of action for a long a$$ time.....

Personally, I think Big Show did it. That punk was just chillin in the background while they were putting him in the ambulance. But it could of also been the anti-Americans....

    I wonder what was Flair's big announcement....retiring??

You know what would be awesome that would just jumpstart Raw?? Goldberg coming out of nowhere....interrupting the main event between Lesnar and the Rock....spearing Lesnar's a$$ and then giving him the Jackhammer!! Then doing the same to the Rock!! Now that would be a show to pay for!!
