No, we are not. We could miss the playoff by playing games right now, and recently the team has a trouble to beat good teams like Nuggets, Suns etc. at home without Lowry. We are just not very good.
I'd say the Rockets are elite or close to it. They are two players away (Hakeem, Michael Jordan) away from being the favorites to win it all.

I just wanted to add I thought it was a poor choice of words if you were going to include the Rockets. We are by no means the bottom of the barrel with the Nets, but we aren't up there with the Lakers, Cavs and Magic either.
