Have a nice dream man,I am very excited by this news too.

Many people here in Shanghai are very happy while talking about this. My grandpa was talking about this with his friends today while they played Ma jong.

We are very pleased to see our Yao Ming to be in Houston.

    Go rockets!

A hearty round of applause for Mr Goldberg. Getting the job done in such a short time while working on a completely screwed up body clock is truely commendable (unless of course he sold the farm ;)).

Nice bit of news to hear an hour before my game tonight

Not to bust your guys' high spirit, this news is actually just Rockets sign with SHARKS, Goldburg is yet to meet with CBA on Monday. But I believe it's just a matter of time, so nothing wrong to celebrate a bit early.

After discussed with Rockets, Mr Goldberg left a letter with his signature to Shanghai Sharks, in which he agreed to realease Ming to attend the 10th Chinese National Games at 2005 and promised to provide helps to Sharks in the future. Because of this letter, Sharks signed the contract with Rockets and let Ming free.

Mr Goldberg and his wife are visiting Beijing's well-known scenic spots now. He will talk with CBA at Monday. Since they had reached the agreement before the draft, many people think his talking with CBA is just a formality. Therefore, most used title of Chinese media today is "Yao Ming gets married!" (means his marriage with Rockets has begun at yesterday)

When are the Chinese National Games scheduled? During the NBA season in 2005? How long will they last?

Mr. Goldberg's promise is, "If the Chinese National Games doesn't conflict with NBA, Rockets will release Ming at 2005......"

Usually the Chinese National Games is held at August. It will last around 20 days.

Once every four years. Last year, Wang zhizhi was called by Bayi Rockets to present them at the 9th Chinese National Games. Therefore, he missed the summer League and training camp of Dallas.

Eric Zhang said in one interview today that "the ideal time of Ming to sign with Rockets is the mid of August."

I think Rockets and NBA want to do some promotions when Ming is signed. It's better to wait Ming when he shows up at USA at the mid of August.

That's pretty much what the Chron said in their interview with Dawson last week. I have a feeling it will be when China plays the exhibition against the USA in Oakland. It'll be good publicity for them with all of the national and world media there.
