Hey i saw a thread talking about vertical leaps so i threw this in as well.

I gotta say francis has the best. At that website highestleapers.ect. They showed Sf crossin the **** out of troy hudson. Man i've never seen anyone make somebody look that stupid.

At number 2 i go with baron davis. That guy uses people. After that its a tie with kobe and iverson. They both have great handles.

Oh yeah, mo taylor has crossed a couple of guys too.

Man i know i'm gonna get flamed for this post.

Does anybody remember a few years ago when Steve Francis crossed Iverson so bad he grabbed his hip and left the game for a few minutes???

I have not seen anybody who has better handles then Iverson. That man can do anything he wants with the basketball. I think that Francis has really good handles but he does not even come close to being like I verson.

Those Jason Williams commercials Nike used to have were pretty sweet. But I think he was passing to the people in the stands during each take...

I gotta agree Iverson has the best handles right now. However, in the early 90's Tim Hardaway ruled the crossover.

while it's hard to say anyone apart from shaq is better than a rox player at something, Ivy beats steve in this one IMHO

... that would be the first thing in a while the eastern conference has won over the western... :D

yeah AI might have the best, but he doesn't show it off anymore. He just uses his super qucik first step now.

What Marbury? at 4? I'd say b davis has better handles. But maybe you're right. But like AI he uses his quick first step to blow by people.

Man, nobody even mentioned Jason Kidd. Just because he's not as flashy as Iverson doesn't mean he can't dribble as good. He's more under control than AI. Even when he's in the middle of a crowd he's completely under control. The one-handed passes he makes off the dribble are another thing.

Jason Williams and "Skip To My Lou" are the best. I've gotta give the edge to Skip though, after watching And1 Vol.5........

Rafer Alston's are the "illest" but Jason Kidd and AI are the best at using their handles to create space for themselves and teammates.

The "illest" handles I've seen belong to MOOCHIE NORRIS. That guy is just sick. I get dizzy watching him dribble.
Another player who hasn't been mentioned yet is Pistol Pete.

If you define "illest" handles by creativity, and not so much by actual effectiveness, then you ought to look at some of the Rucker players. Those guys do it more for show, as opposed to the NBA players who try to utilize them to score or create.

    1. Stevie
    2. Rafer Alston (though he can't do anything else:))
    3. Jason Williams

IMO, these three are levels above everyone else. I do, however, reserve the right to forget someone and make myself look stoopid.:D

Troy Hudson's gotta go above Kobe in any list. He may not be the greatest player, but he's the fastest from one end of the court to the other in the NBA and has repeated crossed-over Kobe, both with the Clippers and the Magic. He's underrated in that regard.

But Iverson's got some mad handles, too. Too bad he may have blown it...
