When was the last time we scored 35+ in 2 quarters of the same game? Especially against a defensive juggernaut like the Warriors?
I hate to be overly negative but these Warriors were the worst team Houston has played this season. At least teams like the Nets showed some fight; these guys played like it was preseason.
First game in a couple seasons where I didn't get to devote my entire focus on basketball. Usually Rockets games top my priorities list, but I had to watch the season premiere of Lost. And it was totally worth it.
I agree. The Warriors team looked like crap. It's sad to think that Don Nelson is going to pass Wilkins for all-time winningest coach, with the way he has been coaching the past couple of years.
Ariza started the game shooting 4-5, he ended the game 6-16... The worst thing that can happen in a game is for Ariza to get hot in the first quarter. Then he will just shoot whenever he gets the ball.
I would have gotten seriously pissed about that if Landry had gotten injured in that play with 6 mins to go in the game. Adelman just had him out there padding his stats for no good reason. Like to see Landry get a nice avg for 4th quarter scoring but keeping him healthy is way more important.
Clutchfans should make good on Ariza's poor shooting. How about for every shot Ariza misses, we donate $1 to charity/tipjar/Haiti?
