With CP3 injured, could Aaron Brooks go to the All Star game?

    Even with David Stern deciding, I still don't like AB's chances over Billups. Stern is more likely to pick CB.

    Isn't this a really simple argument?

    How does Brooks even figure into this?

    You got a guy - Billups on a WINNING team with similar numbers less minutes.

    You got a guy on a LOSING TEAM - Monta Ellis putting up insane numbers cause his team sucks so much balls that he has to do all the work.

    then you got Aaron Brooks whos not really 1st or 2nd or 3rd option on the team, who is losing, not playing insanely well. Why should he even get picked?

    Its really simple, if he was playing out of his mind (which his not) or his club is winning (which it also isn't) then he would be a shoo in. His not playing like how Danny Granger was last year (bad team great stats) or how Billups has been being picked as an all star (PG steer a winning club with decent stats)

    Billups is going to get the call b/c of his resume.

    And it is hard to argue w/ that.

    Easily, you pick Billups. The numbers are almost identitical, with Billups having a slight edge in most categories. He does it in less minutes and his team has a better record.

    Don't forget his DEFENSE. That's another big reason why Billups will go. AB is a defensive liability depending on the matchup.

    I think Aaron Brooks has been a major catalyst on an absolutely overachieving and hardworking Houston Rockets team. I think he deserves to make it and want to see him there because I'm a Rockets fan. real simple.
