If Reggie Miller becomes a HOF, then Ray Allen should be...

but I think they are both borderline HOFs.

Absolutely, and it doesn't even take more than a second to think about.

Both of them, next to bird are considered the greatest shooters of all time. Overall i think reggie is, but Ray Ray is just a monster on those nights that he is "On" same release on his shot everytime. Bird is the most clutch and best leader out of the 3, but it is pretty easy to say they are the best in that cat.

All three are really clutch shooters, but Bird has way more rebounding AND passing ability in his left pinkie than Ray Allen and Reggie Miller has in their entire body. Bird was probably the smartest player ever (Michael Jordan being a close second).

If u could get into the HOF solely on great shooting, then Steve Kerr and Robert Horry should be in the HOF too. Both Allen and Miller established themselves as the best shooter in the league while playing, but I don't know if a player deserves the HOF just for being exceptionally good at one thing.

It was borderline before he went to Celtics. The ring + just being on the Celtics means you can take it to the bank.

After he got his ring in Boston, i think that pretty much sealed the deal for him.

I think so. He deserved the MVP that season he got the Sonics to the #3 seed in the west. He is still putting up good numbers and now has a ring as the #2 guy.

    ur all mixed up.

Allen and Reggie Miller were starter, full time player, while the other two were mere role player that come off the bench. they lack "someting" to translate their strong suit on a full-time basis.

full-time vs part-time, there is a whole lot of difference.

Has he ever been considered a better player than tmac until recently?

Basketball HOF is like the hall of good not hall of fame.

Tmac would be a certain HOFer if he won any kind of playoff series. If you forgot, Ray Ray led the Milwaukee Bucks to a game 7 of the ECF, so 1 game away from the finals.

    Yes.

He's had an alarming drop off this year but he was in as soon as the Celtics won that championship.
