Lets be serious here. Look at the team Howard was on that made it to the finals. The Magic went out and spent a lot of money. And how many finals games did Kevin Garnett play before he partnered up with Paul Pierce and Ray Allen?

I think the sad truth that all of the McGrady haters refuse to admit is that McGrady was still one of those rare talents that only comes around once in a blue moon. Regardless of all the controversy, go and find another player in the league right now that is playing at the level McGrady was 2-3 years ago who is not named Kobe or Lebron.

You take all of the championship teams of the last 10 years and replace their best player with McGrady at his peak, and McGrady might have as many rings as Kobe. Now, how many players in the NBA can you honestly say that about?

I'm not a hater at all but Tmac said it a lot. He said it once when he made his proclamation, then he said it a dozen times when he flipped out in front of reporters. "Its on me the guy ordered a bud light and got a heinekin etc."
