I think we had the best FT defense when we were wearing those pajama unis.

It's not a matter if it was classy or not, for years people have screamed at three point shooters when they are close to the oppositions bench. It's about the no standing rule the NBA created this year and if they just choose to enforce it when they want.

I noticed it too, players and coaches jumping up at the moment of the free throw.

But, the way to stop it, is to just make them.

They should be fined for this...especially if they're obstructing the view of poor fans...[rolls eyes]

and if they're going to do the fine thing and take it seriously, I'd like to see it up somewhere on the web...kinda like a box score...with every team/every player...and how much they currently have to pay, and it can be updated during the game! Live! Just like the NBA Companion Box score is...

    What do you think?

    Brilliant.

I was calling for the Red Rowdies to do some kind of free throw defense. Now, they have role models that they can imitate. :)

When you're old enough, you'll understand.

Our guys are paid millions of dollars to make free throws. As long as there is nothing between them and the free throw line, there are no excuses. Otherwise all of the fans in the building need to sit down and be quiet whenever someone is on the line.

But to your point, I agree that it is unsportsmanlike and downright childish. But so is flopping but if it works it works.

Sorry. I meant as long as there is nothing between the free throw line and the rim.
