He's spectacular when it matters the most. That's all that matters.

Always liked Kurt Warner. I read a book about his life story and the guy is pretty admirable, a real stand up person. I hope he keeps this going and continues to have success.

If people STILL aren't convinced that he is a Hall of Famer, I don't know what to tell you.

This isn't MLB after all. People actually DO get into the Hall of Fame in the NFL.

People get into the Hall of Fame in MLB. Heck, just last week they elected a mediocre baseball player into the Hall of Fame. There are very few deserving people who don't make the MLB Hall of Fame, even if it takes them some time to get there.

And if you are going to complain about guys like Alomar not going on the first ballot, I point you to guys like Irvin and Carter.

why ask when the answer is obvious? if it is not obvious, then you haven't been paying attention. and, it's not because of the last game or even this season.

I thought I put it in this thread, but I got to meet him watch him play as a Barnstormer. I will be glad to see him in the HOF.

Ha! I was in no way saying that the NFL has a perfect Hall of Fame voting system. Just that players that some would consider "borderline" get in. Sometimes on a first ballot.

I could care less about The Alomar thing, btw.

Any questions about Warner not being in the Hall of Fame should be put to bed after that performance, sans Anquan Boldin.

Plug in Early Doucet, whoever... didn't matter. Kurt Warner comes to play football in January.

I think a lot of people forget that the guy would have had 3 superbowl rings if it weren't for Vinatieri and Holmes.

I agree, warner has longevity regardless of starting late, yet he isn't in top 20 in yards or tds. a very unique career to say the least, definitely when he is on, he is amazing

I thought I would bump this due to his retirement. Easily in the HOF IMO. What he did for 2 of the saddest franchises in the NFL goes even beyond the numbers.

Great call on him having an enormous part in the Rams and Cardinals gaining respect and wins. Cause turning that reputation around doesn't happen easily
