    It's crap like this that's turning politics into celebrity. This crap gets all over the "entertainment news" shows and the gossip rags. And with good reason I guess, but it's ridiculous.

    Soon there will be more shows just like TMZ that just follow politicians around and pretend it's the news. And many people will watch it and take it as such.

    the funny thing is they were saying during the campaign he was still trying to see how he could be the vp candidate after everyone on his staff realized he was having the affair and they found out about the baby.

    That's what I find most interesting about this story. He's a politician with presidential aspirations and he makes so many self-destructive choices. How has he gotten as far as he has with such terrible decision-making?

    This is just my impression but it seems like a lot of people have forgetton Watergate. You have those guys who try to break into Landrieu's office to wiretap her phone and now you have John Edwards leaving a tape, although video vs. audio.

    Much better, thanks. Still have a long way to go but after eight months I can walk (well, hobble) without crutches a bit now. And I'm starting physical therapy to re-learn how to walk properly next week. Thanks for asking.

    Am I the only one that thinks this is a pretty shi$$y thing for his aide to do? Why would you choose to lie for someone (wrong in itself), then years later try to get paid from it via a book?
