OK so last night was Carl Landry Bobblehead night for the first 3 thousand fans, now I'm wondering how many people other me noticed how crazy people were going for these. Pushing in the front of the toyota center, and I saw a guy in cavs jersey offering people in the stadium 5 bucks for their bobbleheads. What are these really worth? And on a side note, I found it humorous that the carl landry bobblehead has a www.lovethatsmile.com dentist and oral surgeon advertisement on it.
hahaha no.. thats actually what it says on the bobblehead ..... and i didnt make it a link i guess that was automatic.... did u not get a bobblehead last night?
I got there early, and still didn't get one. I looked on ebay earlier, and the one that was listed was about 50 bucks, so I'll keep looking. There was a abnormal amount of schools there, and I personally think those kids got most of the bobbleheads
i didn't have any issues getting one, I got there about 615 when the doors opened at 630, no issues at all it was funny cause there were 2 ladies that were arguing because they couldn't go through the line without bags because their purses had to be inspected, they were pissed off and asked for a supervisor, I'm wondering if they were pissed because they knew they didn't have a change to get a bobblehead.
Can I ask what entrance you used, I went through Jackson St. and supposely they had to call security over to handle something. I got in line around 6:15ish, and made it inside around 6:40.
I lined up at the La Branch entrance at 6.15p and got in a little after 6.40p. It would've been faster, but our bag checker was incredibly slow. When I got in, they still had a good number of bobbleheads.
I thought they ran out of the Landry Bobbleheads much faster than the Brooks bobbleheads. My wife and I managed to each get one, but they were out 5 minutes after we got in. We lined up at 6 on the street by the Tundra garage and the line stretch almost around the corner.
My brother and I got a Brooks and Landry bobble head each and nobody offered us anything for Brooks; however, my brother was seriously offered $100 for the Landry bobble head. Too bad he had already promised it to someone else otherwise we would have had more drinks to numb the pain from the loss.
I was at the Jackson Street entrance and I didn't get a bobblehead. and thats because I got there really early so I ran to the other side and got there just in time to get one. Landry is worth it I was thinking of giving it to someone but now that y'all are saying its worth something...i might change my mind haha
Well that explains it. I knew they had 3,000 Landry bobbleheads, I didn't know how many Brooks bobbleheads there were. But, I thought the lines were longer too, maybe people knew there were fewer of them to go around (plus Denver is more of a draw than Detroit)
the Bell entrance. The entrance you were at was slow because they had issues with the Flash Seats scanner, I heard from RowdyMaya when I saw here waiting in the front of the line waiting for her card to be scanned.
