The TOs in the 2nd quarter was the turning point.
I am not disappointed with this lose.

And whats wierd with that is the Miami game, some guy came up to me & my mom at the game and offered us seats in 109, a upgrade from where we sit, and my mom started talking to him, and he said he works for the NBA and goes to random games to watch the refs and make sure they don't "fix" games. So some suits at the game work for the NBA

    ^ THIS!

So many phantom calls... my dad doesnt even watch basketball and was said "i thought a foul was when someone gets hit?? why did they call a foul??"

In disgust I had to reply "NBA hates the Rockets".

I cannot believe how insane, angry, and saddened posters are getting about a team of role players playing just above 0.500 basketball (or a bit lower at the moment).

It shows you just how spoiled the Rockets have been the past few years to have players like Yao, McGrady, Francis (1st time), Barkley, Drexler, Hakeem, etc with talent and promise.

Imagine if we were one of those teams who never get those players or just always have even worse luck than the Rockets have had with those players of that capability.

If you can't score on the Denver Nuggets your offense is really piss poor...they give up 102 points per game.

The Rockets need some scoring STAT....McCants or Wafer to the scoring table...STAT !

Well look on the bright side we've been on a 3 game skid but we are still the 9th and 0.5 games from the 8th seed

I hate proving all the sports writers right, who predicted this kind of season. It's a bitter pill.

you know vegas over under for wins this year was 35 i believe.

when we were like 22-15 everyone laughed, but im not to sure we even get 35 wins now. I mean, 1 injury to landry or brooks and we could lose 10 in a row easily.

Nene absolutely dominated Hayes in this game during the 2nd quarter and for parts of the 3rd.

Budinger has proven to be a streaky shooter. Scola can't play defense unless he is on his back. We have no SG on the team now that Jermaine Taylor left. Jermaine Taylor time? :(

I think things are a bit more complicated than that. Many posters have noted the flaws in the starting lineup. These will continue if not addressed. It is just one or two games that went bad, so the above quote does not apply.

We really need to tighten our defense in some small areas, maybe work our way into the post a bit better. It's frustrating for the team starting a losing streak hopefully we can snap out of it friday.

STAT is medical term used in hospitals, clinics, etc... It means NOW. I am sure this is what DD meant.

    This.

The refs had it going on there, blowing whistles on all kinds of crud that it seems like in other games would be let go. Were we really fouling the other team that much?

It might be because we were so close last year, the underdogs to take the Lakers all the way to game 7.

As for having those players - you'd expect that on a team that is in the fourth largest city in the United States. We should have a good team. Milwaukee? Not so much..but us? We should have the money and resources to be able to hire the above average to all stars.....
