Honestly, I'm ready for something to shake up the Rockets. If it's a trade with the sixers, bulls, knicks, warriors...anybody! If we wait until the summer then so be it. This team has great role players but we need a scorer. We clearly do not have that. Our leading scorer is a point guard who I love but in basketball we all know your point guard should not be your leading scorer. I'd take a chance on andre iguodala if that is our best shot.
Draft a center, let him play behind Yao next season. Once Yaos contract is up either let him go or resign him for much cheaper
finally we realize what we really are,sad to admit we are not competitive enough to attend the playoff. ok,its tank time, guys,we are heading forward to the lottery pick....
Chuckster just got abused on the defensive end by Nene, he's not that bad admittedly, but not that decent compared to opposing bigs. Without inside presence, there goes our hope of this season making playoffs with this current roster. And also, AB and Lowry just do what they're supposed to do on the court, helping us in so many ways. If I were Morey, I would have changed the starting lineup and start Chase immediately. Then trade Ariza and someone on the team for a legitimate center in return.
for the last time to tell morey: please bring back a decent C with muscle and height. i hate to see our aussie kangaroo blew off by someone he guarded time after time.i hate to see someone just use jump shot to kill us over the head of hayes.i hate to see we lose so many close games for the missing of a reliable scorer in the 4th quarter.it is time to make some action, though i do know this is a developmental season,i just can't bear the damn feeling be raped by someone else.
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT SEES WHATS REALLY GOING ON.WE DON'T WHAT TO WIN THIS YEAR.DM AND RA ARE NOT THIS r****dED.THINK PEOPLE
Hayes was doing well on Nene in the first quarter. But then he was subbed by Andersen and Nene just toyed with Andersen in the low post. By the time Hayes got back in, Nene was in his offensive groove and was hard to stop. I remember something similar happening with Battier, and I bet it's a pretty common phenomenon. It's just hard to stop an elite scorer once he finds his rhythm and gets it going. The goal is to keep him from finding his groove in the first place. Anyway, outside of Hayes, our low post defense has been pretty bad recently. A real Achilles' heel, I think.
thinking outside the box: dont do anything. i mean nothing. i mean ****. just stand pat. do nothing for 2 years. after next season(not this summer but next) which is summer of 2011 you have scola off books, battier off books, anderson i think off books, hayes off books, lowry off books, brooks off books(or extended),taylor off books, marty lunen off books, lull off books, tmac off books keep yao, landry, brooks and use the rest of that 35 million to sign either Durant or Brook Lopez or superstar (youd have enough to add another 2 max contracts with yao)
