Apparently there's at least speculation about Ellis for Ray Allen and his expiring contract.

I don't know if the Rockets are willing to take long term large contracts, but there's been talk of Anthony Randolph and Rocket can certainly offer some kind of salary saving.

Some of the more exensive Warriors can also fill needs. Biedrins can make us longer up front, which is what Morey wants. He's expensive, but if you want size, you gotta pay for it.

Miracle trade. If this somehow magically happened, we would definitely win the championship next year.

    Fixed ;)

Biedrins reminds of Bill Russel sometimes, and Ellis will provide all the scoring we need. Having him play PF next to Yao next season essentially means no one will score on us anymore. Or maybe we can flip Randolph and Ellis for someone good. Trade for Wade/Broy/Iggy maybe? :p

    pfft, rather Battier

We saw what Ariza can do around stars

Same with Battier and quite simply, Ariza wins that

Not to mention Battier is justing slower

I want Randolph big-time. I we had to, I'd give up Cbud for him.

Yeah who needs a wing player who is shooting 55% from the field.

Especially when we have that juggernaut combo of Battriza.

    ;)

well the warriors are looking to trade their players for saving, not to get injured star player whose contract is probably bigger than those 3...

All three of the Rockets players I mentioned are expiring contracts........

The Warriors would save MILLIONS in that deal.

But you tossed in Dorsey, which would save them like $600k and that's it (not exact number).

Warriors would be crazy to do it. They'd want one of our young stars in return.

I don't all the time but Maggette would be ideal for this team. Highly efficient shooter who gets to the basket and draws fouls. If we got at least Randolph to come with him I would do a trade. Perhaps Biedrins instead of Ellis since I really doubt they would give up Ellis. Plus even though he is a high scorer he take alot of shots to get there, not that efficient.

Perhaps T-Mac, cook, dorsey for Maggette, Biedrins, Randolph? Would that even go through in the espn trade machine?

I don't think we need BOTH Ellis and Maggette, i would prefer Biedrins.

Biedrins is having a terrible year. I would only go after Ellis and Randolph and perhaps Morrow.
