No one goes undefeated in college basketball. What you'll have to look for now is to see how much losing that "undefeated swagger" is going to affect the Null team. The next ten games could be rocky with 3-4 more losses, but I expect a full recovery into tournament beast-mode by the SEC conference tourney. They are not a favorite to win it all, but they remain a favorite for the Final Four. Perhaps now Calipari will actually start to coach the team rather than telling Wall to "do your stuff" and everyone else to chunk up threes and get offensive rebounds by simple virtue of being able to jump twice as high as any of their opponents.
As far as sports betting goes, they are second only to Kansas. Kansas is at 1.75:1 Kentucky and Syracuse are 4:1 Texas, Villanova, and Michigan State are 12:1 and then it just gets worse from there. I think it's ridiculous that anyone would be 1.75:1 in a 64-team college basketball tournament.
and he jacks up 30 shots to get 30 points.. or at least he did vs. Kentucky. He hit some incredible shots down the stretch, but I just can't be impressed with that kind of volume and low shooting % (9/29). Reminds me of Nate Robinson a lot, minus the dunking.
I couldn't agree with you more, but remember it's just sports betting, not actual odds based on logic.
