He is not trading Stoudamire to the Spurs, of all teams, if he does not want to be lynched. Seriously, the idea that Stoudamire could be a Spur of all teams is laughable, and from my perspective would be something like sending Yao to the Jazz. It won't happen in a thousand years.
I believe Splitter was the reason the Spurs were willing to trade Scola, apparently he's a really solid and young prospect. However didn't Splitter snub the Spurs and the NBA altogether? I thought he didn't want to come here and would rather stay in Europe instead? Did he have a change of heart?
Anyone remember how he traded two first round picks to OKC just to get rid of Kurt Thomas? OKC then turned right around and traded Thomas to the Spurs for another pick. LOL was that a great move or what?

The Spurs have been amongst the best at picking up talents late in the draft for years. They have plenty to offer (outside of Duncan, Manu, Parker) if they are looking to upgrade.

He wants to play in rumors say but doesn't want to play for the NBA scale and was close to signing with the spurs this off season but didn't fall through I hope the spurs don't make the same mistake with scola becuase spurs could of maybe got another ring if they had scola from the get go but splitter reminds me of a gasol i beleive splitter is more athletic and tougher the gasol and defintley way better defender just gasol is of course has a great offensive game
I don't see why Phoenix would be willing to do such a trade? Manu is more effective with the ball in his hands and that would create issues with Nash plus who are they going to play as their inside presence. Don't see it happening. The Suns are just about ready to rebuild, Nash is on the decline and the whole system needs fresh blood.
I'm no Amare homer but I can't agree with this type of faulty logic. Evidently, this person has never seen a Nash/Amare PnR that teams have no idea how to stop 90% of the time. That or he simply doesn't understand how a PnR works -- that having a strong screener/finisher is equally as important has having a playmaker initiating the whole sequence in the first place. People like to act like you could plug Brian Cook in at PF next to Nash and he'll go off for 20 a night. Why is it so hard to look at Amare and say, "He's easily one of the most dangerous scorers in the league -- Nash or no Nash. He has has flaws, he won't play defense and he isn't the coldest beer in the fridge, but offensively few can put the ball in the basket the way he can. It doesn't matter who his PG is." Instead, it has to be this "....he NEEDS Nash, nothing without Nash, blah blah blah" type of crap.
