Tracy might be able to give his teammates some tips on how to not get traded. It worked for him... Sorry I had to go there.
tracy trying to teach anyone how to do anything is an amusing thought. tracy on the question of "how to drive a standard": Look man, you just put the car in first gear, then you give it some gas like this right here, then you slowly let the clutch out til it starts rollin, nice n easy now, say, why do i have to do all this work while you just sit there? how about you do some work too, i aint got all day to be teachin you stuff. man, screw this, i'm goin home, screw you and yo non-manual drivin ass. i cant be the only one workin on this team. i need some help son. tracy on the question of "how to appreciate wine": Aight, so first up we gots to pour this out. For the first glass, you just pour a finger or two in each glass n let it chill a minute. haha, let me teach you somethin bout how to roll yo wrist so you catch that last drop comin out the bottle. aight back to this here wine now. you pick up the glass and take a small sip like this . . . (sips) . . . aight now roll it around in your mouth for a bit. naw man you doin it wrong. you dont drink it, you sip it. man what the hell is wrong with you. i'm over here tryin to teach you something and you over there actin a fool not even tryin. i dont know why i mess with you in the first place, you just a straight loser aint got no wine drinkin skills anyway. might as well be tryin to teach a shoe. i'm outta here, peace. tracy on the question of "how to speak in public": Haha. man. i'm so good at speakin in public its not even funny. i got so much talent at this that might as well make everyone else who speaks in public retire. man, i'm great. i'm just so great, you know? i'm so great that i dont even remember what i'm great at. why you lookin at me funny? yeah i forgot yo question but i dont care what you wanna know anyway. i'm tracy mcgrady dammit, i dont give a ****. hey, and when you write a story about this, you better not put no negative bull*** in there. work with that greatness talk. that was great talk right there. real talk. tracy on the question of "how to alleviate back pain": man, i know this great dude out in waco. he did a great job on my back. i had problems, yknow? big problems with my back. it was keeping my game down, keeping me from dominating. i don't know why my back kept hurting, i didn't do any of that work them trainer dudes wanted me to do with my back. figured i'd rest you know? eat a lot, get some calories in me, and hope the rest does good for my back. them trainer dudes dont know me. they dont know what they want anyway. all i need is rest, i can get back in shape when the season starts. bull*** ass trainers. just tryin to make me do some extra work. they need to know who I am before they ask me stuff like that.
They will have to use Landry or Brooks as bait if they want a real asset in return. McGrady's contract is valuable, but trading him for another Trevor Ariza type player would be foolish considering what would be available come free agent time and that is really all that is out there if you JUST trade McGrady. Adding either Landry or Brooks opens up a world of possibilities.
HayesFan -- how much did the Chronicle pay you for the story lead? Kidding, but nice thinking for your original thread over a week ago ... I had linked to it on the front page also after the loss to the Hawks (still up right now). Your theory just made more and more sense.
