pippen was like the worst houston rockets all star player ever. dude gave up on the rockets waaaaaay too soon.

I dont think you understood the question, the thread is about what games of those era you want to watch? you want to watch pippen giving up all those games?

or you want to watch barkley giving all to this team, and playing in the WC Finals? that was the question on the thread.

 

It wasn't a real question bud! I was trying to make a point out of it! I know what i'm talking bout when it comes to Rocket history, im a Houston sports fanatic and just because i read a freaking poll wrong all of a sudden Im not a real fan! Im honestly offended by that! Everyone knows we made the West Finals with Barkley! Come on man! Learn to think a little before you end up putting your foot in your mouth!

It was really easy to get good Rockets tickets in the Steve Francis era.

beating the sonics and almost reaching the finals against michael jordan and the bulls?

yeah. the utah jazz was devastating but I loved being a contender.

 

I voted Barkley for a couple reasons. One, we had a shot at winning a title, it might have happened if he didn't go down vs the jazz. Two, how would you not want to go back and watch Hakeem play? People voting the Francis era is really beyond me given the other options. I was just as much a fan in the Francis era as I was in any other era, I will always bleed Rocket red, but why not go back to a team that has the best player in franchise history, has 3 hall of famers and a shot at winning. The one thing you can def say about the francis era is that team was never close to a title

 

I voted Barkley to break the 3 way tie.

We were 1 game away from being in the NBA finals against the Bulls, and I know we would have won it all.

That game 7 winning lucky 3 point shot by stockton is what made me a jazz hater for life.

 

Steve is a great guy, he did that for Dwight when Kobe dunked on him too.

 

us playing the superstar lakers and stevie having monster games n yao with sick backdoor passes to everyone. we wouldve had a championship if we kept francis. in retrospect that is. who knew that tmac would turn into this.

 

Barkley Era, then Francis for me..the rest I just want to forget.

Championship with Francis? That's not even realistic. I'm not a Francis hater by any stretch but what exactly did he do when he left to make you think that would have happened? He had some good moments here and I'm glad people appreciate that era, but for people to keep up with the what ifs with him, well I'm just not drinking the proverbial kool-aid. Good player, fun player not championship carry the team on his back player
