Would you trade #9, Cato, K. Thomas for #2 and Reeves?
Vancouver can't keep players, they need to trade for players with long contracts. (Cato)

Yeah right. Vancouver isn't that stupid and we don't need Reeves' lousy contract. Also, who of any value has Vancouver not been able to keep?

I'm not so sure. The Grizz may do something like that if it meant they got rid of Reeves' huge contract.

They were stupid enough to give him that contract.

I agree with the Pilot, especially about Mandalay Bay.

I just got back from LV and made my first visit to MB, AWESOME! (Unfortunately Steely Dan is playing there tonight, I should of looked at their show schedule ahead of time)

As for Van. trading the #2, to dump Reeves, why? Reeves has a bad contract but isn't the worst center in the league plus they need that #2 to fill a serious weakness. On our end, we don't need Reeves' stupid contract; even if it means getting a star PF.

Out of curiosity does anybody know how many years Reeves has left on his contract?

I would do this trade in a heartbeat if we could get the #2 pick and use it on Swift.

    BR,

Look at Vancouver's huge glaring weakness (plus the lopsidedness) and you see why they wouldn't pull the trigger on your deal.

Reeves is a center. He's gigantic. He got blocked by Charles Barkley in Barkley's final game. Charles had about 40+ extra pounds than he normally does, and couldn't jump over a piece of paper. How on earth did Country not shoot himself after that happenned? Why didn't that make him realise that he is REALLY terrible at the game of basketball? Why does he keep his hair short, when he has a scalp deformity that would be easily covered up by an extra inch of hair? What the hell is wrong with that guy???

in short, no. please. not him. he needs to stay in Canada.

Well, they do still have Abdur-Rahim, but I highly doubt they would trade him along with the #2.
