I just watched the Southwest Sports Report and they showed when Lewis arrived at the airport. The fans went crazy and I think that he enjoyed it very much. Therefore, because of the fan support and the contention of Dallas, I think Lewis will sign with Dallas. Remember, ESPN INSIDER reported that Rashard wanted a team to "show him love". The only team that has done that so far has been Dallas. If the Rockets are really serious about aqcuiring Lewis, which I think they are not, then they better start showing some love to Lewis becuase Dallas is defenitely the top team on the list.

If that trivial, orchestrated stuff can influence Lewis, (and I hope it doesn't... that he has more intelligence than that), then they can have him. I'm getting tired of the whole thing.

u know what....we dont deserve to get him. not only did we pass him up 3 times after telling him we were gonna draft him, but now he says hed love to play for us, and we 'let him know' that we want him. meanwhile, dallas wines and dines him. if were gonna show no effort in signing our fa's were never gonna land anybody.

I wonder how all those Dallasites will feel when they realize they were being used to get the Cat in the Blue Hat more money from Seattle?

Im sure the night life here is much better than the one in Dallas. I remember the Rangers did the same thing for Randy Johnson when he was a free agent. They even had Nolan Ryan show him around and he bolted to Arizona the next week.

Excuse me. We don't deserve to get him? That is a laugh. We don't need him. We finally get a SF and then people want another one. How about we give Nachbar a chance before we chew him up and spit him out.

    :D :D :D :D :D

good point we should give boki a chance, at the same time i want lewis becuase he is a proven player. I say sign lewis for 3 years then see is nachbar is better than keep lewis promise and sign and trade him for the max.

What everyone in the planet except me is forgeting is that MIng is bolting in three years to play in toronto(higher asian pop than houston) and his buddy Vince.Or to Ny.

We need to win title NOW,NOW ,NOW

Not make trades next year,or in three years, but NOW to win it all.Yes,I beleive if we get lewis for mce we will win title this year.

Lakers are overrated.Without half our players we still were able to get it down to the wire in two games this year, add ming, eddie, nachbar, taylor, lewis and we will sweep them.

if we sign him to a long term deal we are sure to lose either ming or griffin, and i would much rather have both of them, one a true center, the other a d playing pf, then to sign lewis to money he doesn't deserve. Plus he has questionable defence.

If Lewis does not sign with the Sonics then he is coming home to play. Don't believe everything you read in the newspaper and see on TV.

    "Lakers are overrated."

What does a team have to do to prove that they're the rightful Champions? What's so overrated about having, at the VERY WORST, 2 of the top 4 players in the NBA, then winning THREE titles in a row.

So they win one. It's a fluke. Ok.

They win again. They got lucky. Sure.

    They win it yet again.

You're still unable to admit that they're the best, and have been the BEST team in the postseason 3 years running?

No one is saying Nachbar wont be good, but how in the world do we know that he will be good. No one has seen him play 1 minute of basketball against an NBA player yet we are acting like he is our savior. Just cause he had a good shooting performance when he tried out for us. Hell even ive made 10 NBA threes in a row but i still cant shoot worth !$#@. If we can get Rashaard in a sign and trade or for MCE we should consider ourselves lucky. Dallas is smart in wining and dining him because he will be (is) a very good player.

as far as the lakers go, yes they are the best in the post season. Will they win again next year... hopefully no... but im not stupid enough to bet against it. There is a good chance that sacramento can pull it out but if they dont then no one in the league has a chance. San Antonio-- hah yeah right. TD cannot score 50 a game which he would need to do for them to win. The rest of the west- no chance barring a MAJOR trade.
