Not only does the same wide receiver get Orlando, but he blocked Dishman BEFORE that from coming out of the end zone to get Cash. :(

Bud Adams deserved all the heartaches and disappointments the Oilers caused over the years, unfortunately the fans had to feel that also. I hope Bud goes to his grave without a SuperBowl win.

I without a doubt did not forget that game. I was there and remember Montana looking like Montana of old. As a young man I remember feeling like my heart had been ripped out. The buffalo game felt more like a bad dream. I actually fell asleep watching it after the interception return for a TD. Waking up and I believe it was tied and thinking no way I'm still asleep. Yes all in all the buffalo game was much worse, but being at the KC game and watching Montana lead them down the field like he did destroyed me.

My goodness, it still makes me shake my head - but I am laughing my fool head off. Go Peyton, dismantle Ryan II.

I didn't forget. Even after the Buffalo game I still thought they could make it. After the KC loss I stopped doing that.

For whatever reason my dad always HATED the Oilers and was rubbing it in the rest of that evening. I'm still traumatized by that. :(

That was the last Oilers game I went to. Had no idea it had even happened until I saw the news when I got home.

This was all Gilbrides fault for not changing up the run and shoot after the league caught up with it and Buddy kept warning him. Buddy should have punched that lug a couple of more times.

All that D wasted on that damn "chuck and duck".

Sad thing about it, Gilbride totally tossed that offense after he left the Oilers and went on to win a Superbowl ring

    damn shame...

The Oilers never made it and choked all the time but they were at least entertaining with colorful characters.

The Texans on the other hand just seem so corporate. A bunch of nice guys with no personality off the field. Anyone ever heard Kubiak or Matt Schaub give an interview? Holy cow, I think my coffee table has more personality...

Same here. I remember seeing something happening on the sidelines, but you couldn't tell from the stands what was going on. It was the last time I was in the Dome for an Oilers game.

    Good Riddance.

    3 memories of that game:
    1) Football to the face of Buddy Ryan
    2) Willie Davis TD catch around Dishman's back
    3) the orange-sized growth on Montana's elbow after hitting the turf in the Dome

    Stupid Oilers
