    we had better players during the championship years than this year. it's not debatable. c'mon, think about it.

    We really just need Kobe and Lebron to get hurt so the nba stops its superstar bias so really aaron brooks may actually get a call.

    But that isn't the glaring weakness. Top priority is a versatile shooting guard and an athletic tall big to clog the middle. Scola and Landry can do the opposite to their opposition like making the opposing pf work on defense.

    The Rockets need a playmaker. A guy who is not a volume shooter but still can score. A guy who can pass, play off the double teams, and avoids injury or even just plays through it. They need a guy who brings swagger but not arrogance.

    The Rockets need someone like Kevin Durant, but 5 years older. A KG, a Dwade, a Chris Bosh.

    Most of all, the Rockets just need time. RA and Morey have been playing with the remains of CD and JVG's team, in time I think the talent pool we have mixed with the teaching skills of RA could cultivate a player to be exactly what Houston needs...
