Have you seen the next (2005) Vette? Check it out.

As for the new Viper, they took away that tough, bulldog appearance and made it look more blah. They gave it 500 hp and 500 ft/lbs of torque, but the performance from the numbers I've seen isn't that much better. I hate what they did to one of the few domestic cars I reeeeally wanted. :(

The 2005 Vett looks too much like the 350Z for my tastes

also- the new Pontiac GTO looks like it's going to rock, modern platform, muscular lines and that good ol pushrod V8/6 speed combo

I like the new look of the Vette I wish they would lose the plastic look (aka new viper) and harden it up a bit. The pop up head lights had to go along with the bird nose. The new Mustang is heavily based on the 68 model its coming out 05 also to compete with the Vette. The new Camaro will be out about that time too.
Rx8 just had my first look at it  350z/Infinite looks really nice---hmmm what else is of interest....oh shiet man do I want a Subaru WRX power from the factory and more aftermarket parts than you can shake a Visa card at --- For the first time in my life I would go and test drive a new Hyundai the Tiburon is nice...looking. Unfortunately I don't have any room in my garage with my new Lamborghini Murcielago taking up 2 spaces and all
oh yea this thread is about F&F cars--------- I did race a Sentra SE R getting on the freeway the other day- he was behind me and I knew I was in trouble when I saw the giant intercooler hanging out below his bumper- He blew by me :(
I got to get NOZ man that will solve all my problems :D

I think NOS is a waste. If you do get it, make sure your engine can handle the amount you're going to put it. I'd only use it on the track if I did use it though. (Saw the smile, so you could be joking... :D)

I think DoD was talking about the company MotoRex selling the Skylines. I have a friend here whose company asked me if I wanted to import a R-34 that was already up around 600 horses. I really wanted to, but couldn't shell out $35,000 straight up....haha!:D I plan on importing a R-34 maybe in the near future.

As far as the RX-8 goes, I'm still ok with the FD3S version I'm getting my hands on. I'll wait to see if they come out with a turbo version of the RX-8.

Definite joke with the NOZ--- If anything I would put a little turbo on it and run it at about 5 or 6 psi --- it would be a daily driver so thats all I would feel comfortable with-- also have it dialed in to lag until 3500 rpm or so-- but the chances me getting a turbo are about the same as that Asteroid hitting us-- I have a 91 so there isn't alot you can do with the engine for a big HP gain without some sort of forced induction. Then the cost makes the whole project seem silly--- (ie) i'd just go buy a 5th gen Prelude. There is something about aftermarket turbos that are fun as helk. A buddy of mine used to have an old Rabbit GTI w/ a turbo (and intercooler I think) When that turbo spooled up  :D
That engine lasted about a month

The new Viper is so-so, too compact/foreign looking. Like a S2000 or something. I don't care for the new Vette at all...

    I love the S2000.

Not a fan of the Vette from what we've seen so far. The drawings I've seen of the next Mustang, though, are very attractive. I would never buy one, though, for myself. But my older son turns 16 right around the time the new Stang is scheduled to bow.

I love the S2000 when I first saw it. I was amazed by it. This kid in my chemistry class in my jr year in high school showed us the brochure. It's a really nice car, and I think it deserves more pub.

I laugh when I see people driving a Miata trying to be all fast in it and stuff. Especially guys trying to go fast in Miatas.

    Guys in Miatas?

    Watch out there.

Welp. I don't know how to say this in any other way.

    It's a roadster.

    Roadsters are kind of small.

    :p

I didn't think you were disparaging the S2000. I just took the opportunity of your mentioning it to note that I love that car.

S2000's are amazing but what's up with the stock rims- they look like hubcaps. I drove a miata once my knees were banging my chin- if your going to make a small car at least make it fast (ie) Mr2 with the supercharged engine (one of the craziest little cars ever)

Well, I got a brand-new Trans Am for my 16th birthday. It only seems fair to keep the family tradition of giving out Pony Cars alive.

BMW is introducing a new Z style car which looks exactly like the S2000. Anyone see it?
