I'm currently watching the the Jazzholes/Nets game, as we all guessed Nets would lose, and indeed, the Jazzholes are leading by 32 at the moment (2:00 left in 3rd quarter). And guess what, they just benched Okur but they still got 4 starters in game, and it's been like that since like freaking 8-10 minutes. I don't get their point.

At what point of the game you guys think starters should be taken off?

I remember a few years ago, during a Pistons game, they were mad and were about to fight because the other team had all their starters on, with a 20+ lead and 4th quarter...

Hmm. Seems like there was a similar thread about an NFL game and about 90% of everybody posting said the losing team should just "stop" the winning team if they didn't want to lose so badly.

    What's the difference here?

calm down, it's not even the 4th quarter. the same people who bash teams for letting teams come back from 20+ points are the same ones who complain about not letting up...

I agree. Wait till the 4th qtr to bench the starters.

Sloan is probably let them play the full 3rd because he didn't anticipate playing any starters in the 4th...fyi i didnt keep up with game at all so I don't know who played in 4th

I dont like the jazz, but if that game would be the other way around (jazz losing) this thread have not been made, or the first post would be totally different.

Hit the nail on the head there. But the posters would of been calling for the Nets to keep their starters in & PORE ON THE COAL!

The fans play to see the star players not the the 2nd string players. It would really suck for them to only see their favorite player for only the first half and 5 minutes of the 3rd quarter.
