Keep preaching brother! Ariza is now playing career high in minutes, reducing his minutes may do him some good.
I agree wholeheartedly...problem with that is...they won't guard him...then you have 4 on 5 basketball...you can't shoot like he does and be on the floor, you become a liability to the rest of your team...
To me he just does not look all that intelligent. He rarely makes that quick cut in the offense, or a great on time pass.... He looks like a guy who has used his quick hands and length to make people think he is better than he is....... Morey has not really done that great in the free agent market.......and his Artest trade cost us a first round pick and Donte Greene who is playing better now too..... Hmmm...cracks in the Morey wall? DD
He rarely makes a good pass to someone who is guarded well in the post...and if he does it's late and slow... I think this is a huge crack for Morey if Ariza doesn't pick up his game soon...the Artest thing...nah...
Hey, let's back up there a little bit. That Artest trade was a good one. How would we have known that McGrady would have pulled the stunts he did that season? He was super lazy in the offseason and didn't workout. If he had been healthy, and the Rockets still made that trade for Lowry, I'm confident to say that we would have been in the Finals that year.
Hindsight is 20/20 and I guess it's only fair to judge DM, if you'd like, on that one...but it pales in comparison to the current Ariza mess IF he doesn't improve soon...
Yeah but I never wanted Ron to begin with, but I understand them taking a shot with an unproven Greene etc.....that was a risk worth taking. But Trevor was unecessary, they could have had Von Wafer for about a third of the price.....and he is a better more efficient offensive player. DD
That's all in hind site. If Yao didn't get hurt (I know) Ron would be on this team this year. that being said....ARIZA ANYMORE
Morey > the guy who didn't see any of our most recent draft picks contributing, but now wants Chase starting.
Uh, if you recall that was more about frustration in not trading TMac at the draft..... And I wanted to keep Von.....which in truth, would have been better than signing Trevor......cheaper and better. So.....DD is at least equal to DM. DD
i dont know if von wafer is a more efficent player than ariza, i mean everytime he was put in the game he would jack up another shot. He may be more efficent in terms of his playing time compared to ariza but if they were given the same minutes i would have to disagree
Trevor's a good player, and I believe in a more limited role we would all like him much more. He's no Artest. The Lakers knew EXACTLY what they were doing.
Well, if Ariza can shoot and dribble, he'd worth a lot more than MLE. The best chance is get Yao back or another star player, let him concentrate on what he does well: defense ,rebounding, slashing and passing.
