...in Miami. http://www.nj.com/business/index.ssf/2010/01/post_57.html Burger King has come up with a twist on happy meals. The burger chain is planning to sell beer in some of its fast-food restaurants, according to a report in The Daily News. The concept is called a Whopper Bar, and will open first in Miami Beach, the newspaper reported. Other cities that could get wet bars include New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The beers would be mostly domestic, such as Miller and Budweiser. The beer, which would be served in aluminum bottles, would sell for about $4.25 alone, although a whopper and a beer might cost about $7.99, or roughly $2 more than a hamburger, fries and drink combo, the newspaper reported.
This is common in Europe. Makes sense but all those teens working around alcohol would be a disaster in the making.

That makes sense in Miami Beach. I suspect this is specifically for their Lincoln Road location, which is right in the middle of foot traffic and seconds from the beach. It's also a non-drive through location.

I remember going to the McDonald's off Las Ramblas in Barcelona at like 4AM and ordering a beer. That's about all I remember from that night, however.
First guy to successfully pick up a chick in a Whopper Bar should get a life time supply of free burgers.
Wouldnt they be more interested in making Burger Kings more available seeing as there's hardly more than 1 Burger King per city while there's a McDonalds and Wendy's on just about every street.
