It's not Tracy's multiple 1st-round exits that sets off the hate, it's his total lack of efforts that pisses people off. You tell your coach you're ready to play yet you don't play defense and refuse to play team basketball. You demand the ball in your hand when Brooks is clearly the better option and when you don't get the ball you just stand there and watch your teammates go 4 on 5. Embarrassed by Vince Carter in Orlando where you made your name and I can imagine what you said to the coach after that game: " I'm not gonna let my cousin humiliate me like that in my town in front of everybody. I was just getting warmed up and you took me out. Play me right or trade me." Guess what it's not about you looking good it's always about winning. The whole 2nd half would be meaningless had you stayed on court. You want to take credit for the team's success and I understand that because you were the best player on the team. But where were you when the team need you most in the 4th quarter in the Utah series back in 2007? You were so intimidated by Utah's pressure defense that you backed out and threw the ball to Rafer Alston and let him do the magic. It's not on you again! How do you convince me you still have passion for basketball? From what I've seen you care more about how you look in camera. When is it the last time you dive for a loose ball? TOFs trying to compare you with Kobe but Kobe plays defense like it's the last day of his life and what's your excuse for slacking? Enough rings already?
I don't care about T-Mac anymore since he's a goner but every time these kind of "T-Mac is a saint" propaganda pops up I coud never resist to bash him. For the sake of your hero please stop making these threads that induces hate on him and I'll leave you alone jerking yourself to his Orlando highlight videos.
it's so nice to know the BBS not only turns on it's players (some with good reason), but also turns on it's fellow BBSers. Three cheers for the GARM!
Tmac in Orlando <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/T-Ekfbt8aew&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/T-Ekfbt8aew&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> LOL at :22 kid's sign.
came back to give this a bad thread rating. My reasons for KNOWING that TMac was a failure: First off, the Raptors game, as posted by Clutch: http://www.clutchfans.net/news/1545/the_day_t-mac_lost_houston/ Secondly, the Injury Surgery news right before the trade deadline in 2009. There is no doubt the entire Rockets organization was pissed about what TMac did, not just the fans. Third, the undeniable fact that we went to the 2nd round of the playoffs with TMac ON THE BENCH. The same role players that TMac was complaining about are the ones who carried TMac to his only 2nd round appearance in his career. Read it and weep, little kids. TMac was a failure. It makes me sad to say it, but it's just the truth. I would've LOVED to see TMac go up to the WC Finals and whatnot, but sometimes, it's all just a dream.
Yes because we all know you've accomplished more than he has and makes more money. We don't care who you idolize.
i stopped reading after the 1st stanza.. booooring!! Tracey QUIT on us in the infamous 'Toronto game' last year and I have no respect for that self absorbed no-heart, diva .. so watever criticism he gets is well deserved hes an embarassment to all the Rocket greats who donned the Rocket red jersey
Maybes if you's used gooder english this post would been more affective. Sorry, CH. I know this is a blatant ripoff. Article? I am very curious, in what periodical was this 'article' of yours published? Dude, in the future it would be helpful if you only used the word article when referencing a published piece written by a professional writer. You know, it would keep the rest of us from getting confused. Thanks.
At the end of the day his lack of effort and hardwork, has netted him fame and millions of millions of dollars. Gotta love the irony. He's not the first lazy or spoiled star athlete and he certainly won't be the last. It's the fact that his negatives far outweigh his positives right now.
I recall once MJ b*tching about Chuck Barkley just being lazy . . .and not doing what needed to be done to win! Kobe = MJ TMAC = charles ? Rocket River
Nope, even though Barkley was lazy, he was tough and he was willing to crash the boards. Can't say the same for She-Mac.
The whole arguement that Tmac haters blame him for playoff losses seems like such a strawman to me. It's clearly his selfish behavior that's the cause, and it's not defendable. I can't imagine it would make a difference if tmac had gotten past the first round with the Rockets. And honestly, I don't blame him for the losses. Against Dallas, we lost to a good team ina pretty dramatic series. The Jazz are a horrible matchup for us since Yao can't guard Boozer or Okur. We would have beat the Trailblazers with or without Tmac. Going forward, we'll win without him (probably not this year though).
