I went browsing to Sonic Central to see if they had any updates and this is what they had to say about Clutchcity! ClutchCity.net The Holy Grail of fan websites; featured on a number of occasions in Sports Illustrated and spearheaded an effort to get the Rockets a new arena. Extremely active message board, though it has the reputation of being . . . unaccepting . . . of new members. I've been treated well in posting there, however. A wealth of information throughout the site; I could waste hours there and I don't even like the Rockets! Sonic Central is a nice site - But CLUTCH is STILL THE BEST!

I've said the same about CC.net many times - but that Sonics site is quite awful. Kevin Pelton writes for BskBall.com and started his own site on the side. I'll give the guy credit for actually DOING it but it's hardly the stamp of approval that would make Clutch feel good It's kinda like Cato saying Shaq is the best C
this place rocks man, i find this place to be very informative and cool . oh and i actually like the rockets( there not my team, i'm a blazer fan)
Who do you think you are!? You don't like the Rockets!? BLASPHEMY! lol. Seriously though, I think it's great there are fans of so many teams on this board. In this thread alone there's fans of three different teams, the Portland Trailblazers, Seattle Supersonics and Golden State Warriors. And they criticize, but don't rip, the Rockets and aren't considered trolls, how about that!
Well, if so many new members weren't complete dumbasses (COUGH**francis411**COUGH), we wouldn't be so...uhh...unaccepting.
But ... wasn't that just because his original team left town on him? I mean ... wait ... you don't mean to suggest that ...
This is true, but for a good reason. This board is very knowledgable regarding the NBA. The posters here have all brought a certain knowledge that they add to the pool of knowledge that already exists here. Everyone drinks from it and it makes us all more informed . When a new guy shows up, he thinks he knows a lot about the game and he may, just not as much as the "collective" here. So he posts what he thinks is a very thought provoking thread, not knowing it is kid stuff compared to what we have discussed around here. So he gets dissed and sulks around thinking how he's getting picked on and lurks for a little while. Well while he's lurking he starts absorbing some of this knowledge that is spread here day in and day out. Before you know it he's making valid points, arguing about the middle east in the hangout and thinking "Man, these new guys suck" The circle is complete.
