    ok...this is turning into the weekly movie hoopgod13 sees and his b****ing about it.

    Well, this one sucked. The comedy sucked. The actors sucked. I don't care if that's what it was supposed to be...it sucked. I can't believe my friends like this and given it the "cult classic" label, only reserved for the elite select. The disappointment was along the lines of the catastrophe known as Rat Race. The only good part was Liv Tyler in her panties. Nice.

    I'm looking forward to seeing Dazed and Confused next...i hope they're not exactly the same...ughhhh...<sigh>

    I'm with ya... what exactly do people see in that movie?

    Dazed and Confused is very good and worth of a cult classic title imho

    I thought it was OK. The only reason I watched it was Liv Tyler was on the cover. This one of those movies where the soundtrack was better than the movie, like Coneheads.

    As for cult classics, this gives me an idea........ :p

    It has cult classic status? I don't think I've met anyone who liked that movie.

    Now if you don't love Dazed and Confused, you've got problems.

    I remember it being mildly amusing. I would say it has cult status because its one of those movies that the general population could care less for, but has a loyal group that considers it one of the best.

    I don't know if Dazed and Confused is a Cult Classic, but I will say this:

    It's one of my top ten favorite movies of all times.

    AND

    I always feel better after having watched it.

    I don't know why anyone would dislike Empire Records...it's a perfectly cromulent movie.
