But honestly, I think Kyle is an excellent PG. The Rockets haven't got a great back up point guard in Lowry for over a decade in Sam Cassell. What I like about him is his ability to change the pace of the game.

Ever notice how the Rockets starters struggle sometimes with Brooks and Ariza. Then when Lowry and Landry both comes in, the Rockets suddenly became full of energy. I love the bench that goes along with Lowry. Having Landry and C-Bud playing alongside with Lowry is fun to watch.

What separates Lowry and Brooks is that Lowry can create plays for everyone. He is a good passer with a high basketball IQ. Plus he is only 23 so he has plenty more to grow.

Kyle Lowry is still young right now. The way he is playing at his age is good. Many people still are concerned with his shooting but that can be improve. I think between him and Brooks, Lowry has a better upside.

I don't understand why it does that. Is it because it's from Bleacherreport?

Lowry's shooting has been better recently. He's still very young, and given a couple more years, he should be a decent PG in this league. Needs to work on his shot more, which to me is his biggest weakness.

Rockets definitely want him to resign asap to clear the 6mil cap hold, but the question is whether Lower will sign for what Rockets is willing to offer him initially.

Maybe Rockets can offer him Landry type of deal? 3mil/yr for 3 years.

That's not weird at all. Look at Ben Wallace. Or even Dwight Howard, sometimes. Neither can really be asked to handle offensive capabilities, but their defense is superb!
