i think that turned out to be 13 blues for thirteen moons anyways yeah you shouldn't expect gy!be, asmz are a completely different band in most aspects but they get thrown into the same bin as gy!be a lot, they often comment on that mocking how people still consider them a post rock band... this new album is very beautiful and just enjoyable in every way possible

M83 (Before the Dawn Heals Us) - definitely not up to the same level as Dead Cities or Saturdays, but it's okay. Vampire Weekend (Contra) - Very easy listening. Liked it on first spin. Just not sure how memorable some of these songs are. Sometimes rely a little too much on the vocals, which IMO aren't strong enough to carry a song. Favorites are "Cousins" and "Giving up the Gun."
giving my new headphones a whirl... New Vamp Weekend - Contra The Big Pink - The Big Pink(self titled) going old school and giving another listen to: The Crystal Method - Las Vegas
Gojira- Crazy French Metal. Didn't know of 'em till I seen their live show at the meridian. Very intense and melodic.
Got out of my car to Sultan by What Made Milwaukee Famous. That song always puts me in a good mood for the 1 minute walk from my car until I clock in.
I have tics for the Webster Hall show Monday night! and they kind of remind me more of the Violent Femmes

I think I've joined you. Wow! Mylene Farmer? I couldn't understand most of what she sang, but it was still beautiful.
She is quite a star in Europe. Yup, the English world is missing out on a gorgeous woman. She is just...mesmerizing, isn't She?
