Fallout 1 & 2 are on sale for $9.99 each or you can get the Fallout 1, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics bundle for $19.99 :

*EDIT* : Just noticed the Half-Life games are around $7-$15, too.

Wow...apparently this sale is so good, some games are selling out. Prey was one of the daily deals today, but it was "sold out" and replaced by BioShock.

Didn't even know that was possible.

Looks like I'm going to break down and buy the Civ IV pack. Now watch the price drop...

Today's sale has the Crysis bundle for $13.59, SFIV for ~$10, and a few other good ones.

Think they've had some problems updating prices whenever they start a deal. I checked it out this morning, and they had the Crysis bundle for $40, which is the normal MSRP (would have been cheaper to get it from Amazon). Was about to conclude that this would be the worst of the sales, but now it isn't too bad IMO (mostly because I've been wanting to play Crysis).

Be advised that Crysis from Steam can only be installed 5 times. It is not unlimited installs.

any opinions on Rainbow Six Vegas vs. Vegas 2? Vegas 2 is half the price of the original...I assume because it got worse reviews.

Also thinking about getting NBA2k10--though maybe I should do that on on the ps3 instead

The "Complete Edition" and not the game itself? How much was it?! I got the Complete Edition for $26 or something. The game by itself was going for $6.99 I think a day or two ago, but the Complete Edition adds on like 3 or 4 expansions, I think.

I got the complete edition with all the expansion packs for $13 and change yesterday. Also got Max Payne (1 and 2) for $2 and change and Left 4 Dead for $7.

I don't even have time to play all these. Why do I keep buying?!?

Yeah, I don't really like that (think GTA IV is similar?). Steam itself should be enough DRM, but whatever. I don't plan on installing more than 5 times (and if I do, I might use that revoker tool...though I think it might be just for Warhead).

I knew this would happen!

The sad thing is I waited another day or two to buy it after I made my post and of course they waited for me to do that and then dropped the price.

Final day of sales is the 3rd. Just check daily deals until then and buy what you want that wasn't a daily deal on the 3rd. Beware though, I've heard that some people who try to buy too many games at once get their account flagged and suspended until Steam verifies it isn't fraud. Games under 5 dollars likely won't drop further while the game packs, CIV 4 complete and Super ID pack, have gone on sale as a daily deal.

Sorry for the thread bump, but I didn't see the need to create a new thread. Anyway, for those awaiting the new AvP game, Rebellion has released the original AvP (under the name Aliens vs. Predator Classic 2000) on Steam for $4.99. At the moment, only the single player has been released, but the multiplayer will be added in a (free) patch soon. They've re-coded the game to run on newer hardware so there should be few compatibility issues.
