    Landry was unranked for MIP 2 weeks ago, then #1 for MIP 1 week ago, then unranked again for MIP this week.

    This guy doesn't know what he wants.

    Last week I emailed the awards watch guy about the seemingly random fluctuations in rankings for the various awards (especially 6th man and MIP).

    He responded and told me it was because different people write it each week. So basically it's totally worthless because it doesn't reflect the changes of the season at all, just the biases and feelings of whoever happens to be writing it that week.

    Lazy ESPN. It's also dumb that they put Maurice Brooks face at the top corner when he isn't writing it.

    You're telling me Marc Stein can rank every team and write copy for each every week along with a normal workload and Maurice Brooks can't do the same for a few awards...

    also, you can see who writes it each week by looking at the little byline by each award.
