I did not read the entire thread, so I appologize in advance if the germans have bombed the moon on this one.

Tracy for Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy

The trade works out under the CBA.

Why the Rockets do this: Versatility. You get versital offensive players to add to the current roster. You don't give up Scola, Landry, Brooks, Lowry, or Ariza. You also get versital contracts. Both Dunleavy and Murphy's contracts are expiring after next season. Therefore, you could potentially flip those two in a sign and trade for a max contract player this offseason, if you felt that they weren't fitting in with this team.

Why the Pacers do this: Larry Bird has all but come out and stated that they are in a rebuilding mode. I believe I read that he is willing to let these two contracts expire and go after the free agent class of 2011. In this scenario, they could go after a max deal this offseason, pair them with granger, and get one of the top three picks in the draft; a good start to a competitive core.

WoW. I don't know how receptive the entire city of Orlando would be toward getting McGrady back. He burned that bridge when he came to Houston. Aside from his family, wich lives near Orlando, most people hate him there.

A decent trade for this year. But an awful one for next year.

All I want for the tradeline is 1) Bosh for Landry/Ariza/Andersen and 2) AI/Iguodala for T-Mac. I would be SOOOOO pumped if that trade went down, not just for this season but for next season as well.

TMAC is overpaid for 41 more games

One dimensional 'flower forward' Rashard Lewis is overpaid for 3-1/2 years:

    2009/10 - $18.9M
    2010/11 - $20.5M
    2011/12 - $22.1M
    2012/13 - $23.8M

No way the Rockets will take on this HORRIBLE contract.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. The roster would be the same next year, accept Yao would be back and Murphy could play the 4/5. If, after 40 games or so, you thought that it wasn't going to work out you have 2 contracts that would be perfect to flip to another team in a sign and trade for a Bosh or Joe Johnson or Lebron

Any trade where the Rockets keep Murphy is a bad deal.

What made you change your mind? I know you have wanted Dunleavy and Foster more than him,but you have also mentioned acquiring Murphy before.
I don't like him, but I could live with him if we could get a healthy Granger as well.(not likely).

I think the Rockets need to add an elite scorer and/or playmaker to their team. That trade wouldn't really address that, and the added salary would restrict our ability to sign such a player too. We could trade for such a player, I suppose.

Maybe if Landry or Brooks were included. I think any trade we make will involve one of our young, CHEAP talents.

Vince Carter anyone? :p Magic could potentially trade him(according to C.Ford)
I'm kidding. I want no part of Carter.

I like this idea. Seems realistic to me also, although Minnesota would have a jam at PF with Scola, Love, and Thomas.

I'm quite sure DM won't do that for Jamison and/or Butler. I do agree with you that any trade will almost certainly include one of our young, cheap talents.

I think it's already been suggested before and not my idea(idea through some chinese website lol)

    To Toronto:
    Luis Scola
    Trevor Ariza
    Samuel Dalembert

    To Philadelphia:
    Tracy McGrady

    To Houston:
    Chris Bosh
    Marcus Banks
    Andre Iguodala

Hey, people can dream right? ;)

Again, dont know how many times it needs to be repeated. 76ers arent gonna let go of AI for just Dalemberts contract. Brand and Dalembert must got for AI to go.

    3 team trade.......

You all should be up to date with rumors and such before posting

I check this site EVERYDAY and I don't remember that being printed anywhere. It may have been SPECULATED by others, but I don't think you can dismiss the possibility of AI/SD being traded for T-Mac. In fact, I can site SEVERAL reports of rumors with just that type of deal.

It may not make since for the Sixers to make that trade TO YOU, but I'd be careful before you jump on someone else for bringing that rumor up....it's not like he started a new thread!!!!
