He might? He already requested to be traded, and a buy-out would probably be even more preferable to him. The Rockets want to trade him (but not a stupid trade just to get rid of him), however, they do not want to do a buy-out for him.
If the rockets couldn't trade him before the deadline, it would be meaningless to hold him anymore...
actually a buyout would be choice one for t-mac, or traded to the spurs, as he's already stated he could win a ring on that team. (b.t.w. the morey "roughing up underlings/toddlers/homeless/& profanity" stories are in the game analysis thread- i think there was merely a "kernel of truth" to them, then it got exaggerated. but i'm curious if he addressed it- he has already clarified the "usher" was a merely a v.p., his son was cool, & the s0da/toddler incident has yet to be confirmed).
Im still in shock that DM would get that mad. He's normally a calm guy. You can tell he was avoiding the hot seat questions
Fred. i wouldn't be surprised if d.m. was actually closer to a brainiac version of the latter. he is far more aware of his physical presentation than most of us consider. he's loving it, to the max.
I believe he would retain a value in an SnT. I believe even more strongly that it will be moot; TMac will wear Bulls gear. Or 6ers.
First of all, Buddinger is not better at this point. Second, he's not going to be dunking again, so he won't mesmerize anyone with that anymore. If he goes to a veteran team he could fit in well however. I'd love to see what he could do with a team like Boston.
thanks wex. you'll give us a heads up when morey comes on 610 or 1560? morey definitely mentioned personnel changes as part of the possible changes he tweeted about
if it means keeping him from piggy backing for a ring it does, no sense in trading him or buying him out if we gain NOTHING from it. i'm sure DM will solve the problem, but if he wants a change, he can always just play tmac! : ) haha jk guys don't have a heart attack
When I clicked the podcast link, it started with the Steven A. Smith interview rather than Morey. Will Morey's interview be made available?
list should have it. http://www.sports790.com/cc-common/podcast/single_podcast.html?podcast=MattAdam.xml
http://www.790kbme.com/cc-common/podcast/single_podcast.html?podcast=MattAdam.xml Click Tuesday Jan. 19th (2) and Morey starts around the 34 or 35 minute mark IIRC.
Part 2 insdead of Part 3. Morey's interview starts at around 34:06 mark, you need to wait a little while to drag to that point. It got cut off in the end though.
