Probably why the Jets ended up winning the game. I kinda wonder what will happen if the media sees that.
No explanation for the arrest. Fans from other teams and a bunch of witnesses saying he didnt do anything. A cop asking the guy to step outside so they can "talk" All being caught on camera. Are these cops just plain stupid? Only explanation that would make some sense would be some video editing. Or not.
The video definitely looks like it stopped recording then started again when the cops entered the scene, but that still doesn't explain the chargers fans saying that he "didn't do anything"
Was that a Chargers fan saying they arrested the wrong guy? Cops gotta know that people have cameras around and ****, they can't be acting all stupid. Fans are obnoxious all the time, and if you look at the scoreboard, that Jets fan had every right to be obnoxious. He wasn't vulgar, he just kept yelling JETS JETS JETS. There has to be more.
I doubt it. There's too many people (Chargers fans even!) saying the guy did nothing wrong. This is a case of 1-2 cops on a power trip arresting the wrong man. They probably knew it too and were hoping the guy would quietly come upstairs with them so they could release him quickly while saving face. Once he started resisting, their plan failed since so many people knew it was wrong. The other police officers joined in because of group mentality: even though something their colleague did was wrong, they think "us vs them".
The same BS happened to me at the Texas-Colorado game in Boulder back in '08. Was singing along to Texas Fight, and cheering on my team, and got removed from the game for no reason. Even the CU fans tried to tell the cops that I didn't do anything. Anyway, cops take me out of the stadium. I buy another ticket for $20 and come right back in the other side of the stadium. F the police.
The youtube description: I was surprised as everyone else in the video that he was taken away. This guy was obnoxious but didn't deserve to be arrested. In fact moments before this this woman in a wheelchair asked him to come down and she slapped him in the face and said shut the F*** up. He did nothing and just walked back to his seat with his wife. This may have premeditated the police to come down in the first place. So i guess insult to injury...slapped in the face and yanked before he saw his team come back and win.
This is the most backwards logic I've ever heard. Unfortunately, the SCOTUS has greatly restricted the right to resist unlawful arrest.
This just goes to show you that cops aren't jerks only to minorities. White people get arrested for no rhyme or reason also, but they can't claim racism.
Putting this in more thought, the police had to blame it on somebody for stealing the Texans spot in the playoffs.
This is crazy on two levels. 1) Innocent until proven guilty. 2) Playoff tickets are expensive. Even if they did not fine him, they were removing him from the game. There is nothing wrong with cheering on your sports team in public. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/FJaAe7sYoCA&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/FJaAe7sYoCA&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Pigs is the correct term.
