I think that's weak on Lebron's part. Don't stand there and try to steal someone else's thunder while they are participating in the contest by announcing you will be in it the following year, then back out of it. I used to like Lebron, but what most people say on the board about Lebron seems to be true. He seems like he's all about himself and only wants the attention and nut hugging that people give him, mainly ESPN.
Not Nate Robinson again!!! His dunks are average. Both times he's won I wasn't impressed. He's got hops, but I've seen better dunks on YouTube from guys his size.
If Lebron never participates in a dunk contest, wouldn't that be one of the biggest disappointments in his career, 20 years from now. At least MJ competed in and won back-to-back dunk contests when he was young
Get Corey Brewer and then get Derek Fisher to come as a prop and Brewer can do the nuts in ur face dunk again. I'd give it a 10. Replace Derek Fisher with Anderson Varejao, Vujachick, Dirk, or anyone from the Jazz and I'd still be fine with it.
They seriously should have done like a big "tour of American playgrounds" and organized like 5 or 6 amateur dunk competitions around the biggest U.S. cities and let the amateur guy compete. That would have pushed the pro's to step up their game and would have made some happy fan.
