I have used this before to download stuff, but now I am trying to download a pathology book with 15 parts and rapidshare keeps telling me all download spots are full and blah blah blah... Any cheap places to buy a rapidshare account or tips to bypass this BS? I have gotten 8 of the files downloaded since yesterday but am now about fed up.
This is a bit tedious by try resetting your modem after every download, I think it resets your IP Address and gives you the opportunity to download as a first time user. Or just pay for the 30 day subscription I think its like 9$
was going to tell you to hope on AIM or something so i can send it to you but i dont have it, sorry. im also trying to download some books off of rapidshare and it's not letting me. might just buy the 6.99eu 1 month plan, im a bit fed up.
Doesn't the use of Rapidshare violate copyrights? Are you seriously asking for help in how to use a web site that does that?
Yea it's kinda like torrenting stuff, violating copyrights and stuff. Then again, OP isn't trying to save $20 by downloading movies. A pathology book is easily $300...
Yep....normally I buy my books but I need this one just to look at a few radiographs. I would rather not spend a couple hundred on a book I use once.
I found a cool firefox add on that allows you to paste all the rapidshare links you want to download and it will take care of it for you. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8376

No, its not the same thing. Stealing from Barnes and Noble is a loss directly to the bookstore. Downloading it is a theft to the publisher ... but I guess that depends on if the OP is willing to buy the book otherwise.

there use to be a software called rapiddownload you can get that bypasses that but don't know if it still works or not.
Megaupload is so much better than rapidshare for me. I get at least 4x the download speed on megaupload.
