The Wizards aren't taking back all of those bad contracts, while giving up Butler.

I really dont think AI is being given up just for Dalemberts contract alone. I think its both Brand and Dalembert, not either or. And if it is one or the other, it would be Brand first. More of a disappointment with more years and money. Duh

Dudes need to start thinking about the other team, for real

I am litte skeptical with any trades involving Igoudala or Butler, their 3% percentages don't convince me. If we don't get rid of Ariza in the deal that 2 out 3 perimeter players who will be horrible from beyond the ark.

To really get the most out of Rick's offense you really need some people who can shoot from outside so our bigs can operate from that elbow area.

    how about this trade.

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine

The only thing I don't like about this is that Jamison will have 2 more years after this season for quite a bit of money, but this trade will fill several of our offense and defensive needs without breaking up a big part of the nucleus.

Haywood will give us good size at the five and a shot blocker while Miller will give us another wing player with 3 point range.

Also, this could finally mean that Landry might get to start for those who really want to see this and Jamison is really not that bad off the bech.

We probably wouldn't need to give up Scola in such a deal. Probably get by on sending them Cook and Dorsey.

I would think Jamison would be sent to Cleveland for Big Z, although we'd have to buy him out (his contract is structured so that most of it has already been paid for the year, so no big deal; Cleveland wants him to retire there)....IF we can get Cleveland's first rounder. Morey has a way with even the lowliest of first round picks.

Jamison would be that excellent "stretch 4" to play with Yao, and he's still productive, but he's getting long in the tooth.

    Check out my masterpiece!

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yf9bb6y

    Rockets Get:
    Andre Iggy
    Samuel Dalembert

    Bulls Get:
    Zach Randolph
    T-Mac

    Grizzlies Get:
    J-Taylor
    Hinrich
    Jerome James

    Sixers Get:
    Brad Miller
    Tyrus Thomas
    Brian Cook

I dont see any holes in this trade. All 4 teams benefit greatly, with Philly and Houston being the clear cut favorites. Rockets pick up two valuable pieces, and the the Sixers get 3 expiring deals. Grizzlies cut salary by trading Randolph for expiring Jerome James, and they pick up a youngster in Taylor and a vet. point guard in Hinrich. Bulls get a dominant PF in Randolph, and a project in T-Mac. If the project fails, they let him walk and they get 13 million under the cap for next year. All four teams benefit. Perfect trade IMO.

the grizzlies don't benefit from this deal, it leaves them with a hole at power forward and they don't necessarily need hinrich with conley around.

They would need picks and also maybe it is time for them to develop Thabeet. A developed Thabeet with Gasol frontline, with 7-2 Hadadi on the bench? Wow

Three tean trade b/t Philly, Houston & Toronto

    Houston gets:
    6'7 Iguodala(SG/SF)
    7'0 Dalembert (C)
    6'4 Holiday(PG)
    6'10 Bosh(PF)
    6'11 Speights(PF/C)
We get some Damn SIZE!!!, and Length in the front Court...and some size in the back court...

    Philadelphia gets:
    6'8 McGrady (SG/SF)(expiring 22.5 million)
    6'9 Scola(PF)
    6'3 Calderon(PG)
    7'0 O'Bryant(C)
    6'6 Weems (SG)(Buyout)
IMO Philly does it so they can get out of Dalemberts & Iggy's contract, and get 22.5 million in expiring, while getting a good a border line All- Star PF in Luis Scola...

    Toronto
    6'0 Brooks (PG/SG)
    6'9 Landry(PF)
    6'8 Battier (SF)
    6'7 Kapono (SF)(expiring, 6.2 million)
    6'10 Cook(PF)(expiring, 3.5 million)
    2011 1st rd pick(Top 10 protected)
IMO i think toronto does it b/c its gives them some good young pieces, and some solid veteran leadership, they also get to get out of Calderon's long contract, plus they get draft pick and have 9.7 million coming off the books this off-season

Fifteen player deal!!! It just isn't realistics. There are too many pieces moving in this trade. I don't ever recall any deal in the NBA with so many players moving teams.

Besides the rockets would be taking too much money in return with this deal and that's without Bosh being signed for the long term.

hahaha!!!, you're right  , but we can always make history!!! ;)

BTW the largest trade ever in the nba involved 13 players only 2 away from what I'm proposing....
