I think we need to draft this kid if we're picking in the 20s. Long and lanky who needs to put on maybe 10-15 pounds at this point. He's about 6'10 or 6'11 and 235lbs with a 7'6 wingspan. Has a real good track record of blocking shots, and is averaging 2.85 blocks for his career (3 BPG so far this year).

He's not a great scoring threat, but he has some skills as a shooter (2 for 9 shooting 3s). I think once he bulks up he should be able to bang down low and be more physical in the paint. He's a real good athlete and can run the floor (he's pretty fast for a big guy). Still relatively raw and not playing at a huge college, but from a physical standpoint he has everything we need and could develop into a real good defender.

Didnt know Gary Shandling could play ball. Then again, he would be pretty old.

I don't like Sanders as a first rounder. I know a lot of other people do... but from seeing him play in person a number of times against my school here is what I gather:

He is very athletic, but he just doesn't have it all together. For his size and athleticism he should be dominating that mid-major conference, but for some reason it doesn't really happen. He relies way too much and his size and athleticism in a conference where there are not really any other big men to match up with it.

He is also pretty hot-headed. Got suspended earlier for throwing a jab at a guy on the way back up the court.

who sure does seem like an interesting prospect, specially given that we have no size and length with our current team....
