Dammit.
Post game analysis Bull says "when you're losing so many games it's time to start making changes. Budinger is the kind of player I'd start doing that with." Amen, Brother Bull!!
we are hitting the wall now, NBA, where huslte is only getting you so far................ Defense against talented teams have become a serious problem......
Well..here come all the people who said "rockets will suck this year" ....it's coming...be on the lookout, the team is in a struggle right now.
Thanks a lot Adelman for running the team into the ground against Minnesota....specifically Battier and Trevor....... We have GOT to be smarter than that. DD
Have we reached the wall of our success? Will Teams now that we've reached the half season mark start to beat us with their superior talent and increased urgency? Maybe. But the rockets will make a fight out of it till the very end.
Complete control by the Miami starters but their frontcourt especially dominated the game. Both their starting and backup centers shut everything down; our perimeter guys couldn't penetrate, and our frontcourt guys couldn't score inside. Another off game for Landry, who was completely neutralized. It wasn't that the Rockets played that badly, but they just couldn't figure out how to beat that Miami frontcourt. Only Andersen hitting jumpers kept things from getting completely out of hand.
This wasn't the only game they struggled/played bad in. That may have attributed to this game alone but not the main reason.
The team is reaping what they'd sowed by screwing over T-mac. All this talk about teamwork, chemistry, and playing with heart- all that stuff is a two-way street. When the players saw that the organization is only interested in money than in the players as people, of course everyone's going to start looking out for themselves. No one wants to put it all on the line, play selflessly and then get screwed over because a better business deal came along for the suits.
The Bench were the ones who initially lost us the lead in the first half.. we should have run Bud with the first team.. but he couldn't guard anybody today too.. Bench has been pretty terrible last couple of games..
