What is the difference between Aaron Brooks and Allen Iverson?

    It's not just the media. Coaches (including JVG) and team mates have raved about this guy's toughness since he entered the league.

    Again, it's tough to compare something like "heart" but to say a third year guy who hasn't really had any adversity has the same heart as a guy who is a living legend in the league largely because of his heart is an absurd thing to do.

    You can't even make the comparison and be credible until Brooks plays 10 years in this league and we hear coaches and team mates volunteering to people how tough Aaron is or how much heart he has.

    Physical traits don't matter as much, its the mental aspect that counts.

    Aaron Brooks at age 25 is EXACTLY like Iverson at the same age 25, when Iverson was the MVP of the entire NBA.

    aaron is a better shooter a pure shooter in fact while iverson is a better scorer/play maker and can get his shott off easier but iverson needs the ball to be successful while brooks doesnt need it cuz he can spot up.

    Come on seriously? This thread should be locked...

    Iverson took the 76'ers to the Finals by himself...


    People don't give Iverson enough credit... He used to average 30 pts 6 assists and 3-4 steals a game... come on... no comparison

    One of these 2 guys won an MVP, carried a team to the finals, led the league in both scoring and steals, and is a likely hall of famer. The other followed up his career best scoring night by being out played by Rafer Alston :p

    Brooks has had a good year but let's not go over board in our comparisons.
